Perfect location

The cabin was spacious & had everything we needed. Loved the deck looking out at the river & we really enjoyed the outdoor space right on the water. Would definitely stay again.

Great house where we made great memories! Listening to the river from the porch and short drive to town made this the perfect house. Highly recommend!

We had a nice weekend in the mountains in this property. It’s in an excellent location – right on the Chattahoochee River and just a few minutes from Helen. There are a lot of fun things to do like build a fire, play horseshoes, arcade games, and a hot tub. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely go there again!

This cabin was perfect for our little family Christmas getaway! It is super close to downtown Helen and Anna Ruby Falls. Hosts were very responsive and kind. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings with a cup of coffee and listening to the water rush by. Also loved roasting marshmallows at the fire pit by the river. The cabin was completely decorated for Christmas, which just made the whole visit so special. We spent our nights snuggling up inside by the fireplace and Christmas tree. My only regret is that it was too cold outside, so we didn't get to use the hot tub while we were there! We would definitely stay here again.

Easy access, very nice and responsive hosts, perfect getaway cabin, wonderful decor, well maintained! Lots of little extras provided, tv stteaming and wifi is excellent, beds are very comfortable.If you go...don't forget to use the park geound across the road...horse shoes and fire pit...make s'mores it's a most. Out door seating and grill is great...oh yeah enjoy the hot tub!!Easy to get to...paved all the way...including the drive way.Hayed to leave this lovely place!! We will definitely be going back...very soon!!

We had a great time at the cabin! Great communication with our host Stacy! The morning views from the porch were so peaceful looking at the river and so many fun hikes. Downtown Helen had some great little shops and our kids loved the arcade games back at the cabin each night.

Great cabin for a quick trip to Helen. Owner was very easy to work with and always promptly answered our questions. Cabin was comfortable and had all we needed.

The cabin was secluded but also just a short drive to town. The river is so peaceful. The perfect spot for morning coffee! The beds were super comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets avaliable. My kids throughly enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was a real beauty! We spent liberty weekend here to celebrate my 15-year-old’s birthday. He brought two of his best friends and had an awesome time at the hot, tubbing right across the street, and roasting marshmallows right on the river at night! This place is very convenient just some of the other things I enjoyed as well like the hike at Ruby, Falls, the mountain roaster, mini golfing and the delicious German birthday lunch we had. Back in the cabin we celebrated his birthday on Sunday evening in the large porch. Priceless memories!!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is perfectly situated less than 10 minutes outside of town and the peaceful area was exactly what we were looking for. Communication with the owner was swift and smooth. We'll gladly let this be our Go To stay the next time we visit the area.

The cabin was great! There wasn’t a detail or amenity that was missed. It was cozy and perfect for our family of four to enjoy our time in Helen. I recommend it as a getaway!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! LOVED the river view. The kids enjoyed tubing in front of the cabin daily. We saw a bear cross the river which was cool! Also loved watching the hummingbirds. VERY convenient to Helen. Cabin was nice and it was a relaxing stay. Would definitely come back!

We loved this beautiful cabin and location! It was a perfect platform for our family of 5 (Two 20 somethings, a teen 2 y.o.). They all had a wonderful time. The property was just as described, and we had great communications with the owner. Be sure to take advantage of the fire pit by the Chattahoochee and bring your smores supplies! The cabin location is just far enough away from everything to really relax, but close enough to Helen and other natural activities, when we felt adventurous. Be sure to see Anna Ruby Falls and Raven Cliffs if you like a little hiking!

House was great for our needs,great location to ride scenic roads,cabin deck was perfect to return to,enjoy evening cocktails and listen to the river or rain. Enjoyed the beautiful flower beds,even made a fresh arrangement for the dinner table. Loved the convenience of being close to Helen but still being in the country.

This is a great place that is thoughtfully furnished and has perfect location. We were able to cook several great meals in the very well equipped kitchen and enjoy the river each day. The house is secluded but an easy drive to all that the Helen area has to offer. If you are coming to the area we recommend this place for a great trip to the North Georgia Mountains.

We stayed the weekend to celebrate my wife and daughter in laws birthdays. The property was absolutely beautiful. I love the decor. And the kitchen was well equipped with all I needed to prepare a fabulous celebration dinner. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with the peace of nature and the sound of the river flowing. We a blast at the private park area, took a dip in the brisk 56 degree water, had a fire in the fire pit, and even made smores. Downtown Helen is just a hop,skip,and jump away with plenty to see and do for everyone.Will definitely return and stay here if this property is available.

The property was beautiful and in a great location to go trout fishing. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

The location on the river & private beach is fantastic. We tubed, sat around the fire, and played with our new friend “Happy.” Cabin is adorable! Has everything you might need. Very thoughtfully decorated. Just book it!

Great stay at a conveniently located and well-stocked home! We loved our long weekend at Big Bear Lodge.

This is a beautiful house with lots to do and the owner was very responsive. Family enjoyed fishing right across the street, playing the video games, and relaxing in the hot tub. It is a short distance from downtown Helen so nice to be out of the crowds but have easy access. House was very clean and had everything we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here. The location is great, close to Helen, but out far enough for quiet and privacy! There is so much to do at the cabin, we didn’t feel like we had to leave at all! Though we did enjoy exploring the area. Communication was great and we had all the information we needed.

We were only at The Big Bear Lodge for a weekend, but in that time it was a very nice cabin with beautiful view of the river and space enoigh for our group of 5 to hangout and enjoy.

This is the 3rd time staying at this perfect cabin! Perfect location! Our kids love the river and my husband loves grilling on the balcony! We will be back!
