Great hosts and place to stay.
Absolutely gorgeous property! The hosts are amazing! Best part of our whole trip was staying at this cabin. Close to Yellowstone Park. Grocery and laundry near by. very private and lots of room to roam!
The cabin is awesome, clean, and the perfect distance from Gardiner and Livingston. Deer walking around property, River close walk away, and the view of the mountains made this our favorite vacation to date!
My 17 year old daughter, husband, 3 year old Dutch Sheppard and I stayed here for a week using it as our place for a week at Yellowstone. It was a beautiful location, where we enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset daily. There were 4 bald eagles that we watched daily from the couch. It took about 20 minutes to Yellowstone from the location, but we LOVED all the wildlife we saw on that drive. It was about 30 minutes to Livingston were we went the day it rained to enjoy downtown and shopping. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, and bathroom needs. The owners were very easy to communicate with, and even checked in on our stay half way through. Our dog enjoyed the yard and we spent every evening sitting on the porch reading and her just taking it in.
Very comfortable and quiet.
We had a great time in this clean, well-equipped cabin on the ranch. The owners have thought of it all, as it was stocked with anything we needed during our 4 day stay. Cisco, their horse, is very friendly and my sons loved seeing him welcome us at the fence as weโd come back from a day at Yellowstone (perfect location if youโre heading in and out of the North entrance and donโt want to be too close to the tourist scene). We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back this way!
This cabin near the Yellowstone River fit the needs for our family, who came to the area to spend a week with our son who was working in Yellowstone for the summer. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking dinners, and the table sat 4 comfortably. When all 4 of us were there, we found the loft space useful, though the access up the ladder took some getting used to because of the steepness. The entire cabin was extremely clean and very obviously well tended, with fresh towels and linens, and the beds were comfortable. The one thing to be aware of is that the ownersโ dogs roam around the property. We had our dog with us and on leash the entire time, per the policy, but we did have to be aware of the two dogs when we went out because they would try to approach our dog. Both dogs were friendly, but on leash dogs donโt always interact well with off leash dogs, so we just had to be careful every time we went out with him. If youโre looking for a nice cabin, near Yellowstone or Livingstone, this place is a good candidate.
This cabin had everything our family of five needed, including good WiFi for my teenage children. Itโs clean, cool, and comfortable. The location about 35 minutes north of Yellowstone is convenient to explore Lamar Valley without overpaying for accommodations in Gardiner. River Haven is a great cabin for a great price.
Perfect quaint cabin stay and location. Hosts were easy to communicate with and the property is beautiful. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Nice to be far enough away from hustle and bustle but not too far from town. Would love to come back again and bring my kids along!
Amazing views, amazing property, wonderful cabin and wonderful communication. Canโt get any better!! Bring binoculars!!! You will observe mule deer, elk, bald eagles and other wildlife!
We had a meeting in the area, enjoyed Chico Hot Springs and loved the deer, elk, and eagle visits. This place was just what we needed.
A+
The cabin was beautiful and they thought of everything for our stay.
Owners were such friendly and helpful people!! Cabin was spotless and just as advertised. Good river access. Cabins are situated for privacy. Perfect 3 nights!
Our family of 4 had a very nice stay. Cabin is very cute with all new decor, appliances, kitchen and bath amenities. Easy drive to Yellowstone National Park which was our reason for the trip and a must do for anyone visiting. I forgot that this cabin doesn't have laundry services on site but we were able to do laundry next to the gas station in Emigrant. Gas station attendant was very friendly when we had to get quarters since no change machine at the laundry mat. We loved the small town of Emigrant and having drinks at The Old Saloon! Wish we would have had time to check out the bakery and BBQ place but too much to see in Yellowstone!
The place was the perfect size and had everything we needed. A little further away from Yellowstone but was perfect to stay away from the crowds of people.
River Haven was a great and peaceful stay! The views from the cabin are incredible. Down at the river, there are chairs and picnic tables. The cabin is thoughtfully designed and has everything you would need. We went to Yellowstone each day we stayed at River Haven, and it was a quick and easy drive there. Highly recommend!
Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here and will consider staying again when we return to the area.
