Westcliffe, Colorado
Summary:
The "Goldenheart Acres" sign at the entrance was inspired by the family dog, Gabe, who HAD a heart as gold as his burnished coat. His spirit lives on as we welcome stargazers, hikers, wildlife photographers... or any travelers seeking rest & quiet, while surrounded in awe-inspiring beauty.
Views are epic: Sangre de Cristos form a wall of peaks to the West. Wet Mountains to the east. Spanish Peaks to the south. Between is an expansive valley and rolling hills sprinkled with cattle & wildlife.

Amazing views, wonderful property, and looking forward to staying here again!
This is our second time at this cabin. It is in a great location with stunning views. It is cozy with all the amenities you need to relax and recharge.
Very clean and nice easy contact and awesome location .
Overall this property was amazing. The views were unbeatable and the location was pretty spot on. The upstairs loft was our favorite spot as it was like a master suite. 8/10
Was better than we expected
We had the most amazing stay at the cabin. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin was very clean, well stocked, private, and comfortable. The views are stunningly gorgeous. We loved sitting the porch and watching the sunsets, observing the local wildlife, and enjoying a drink in the hot tub after a day of exploring the mountains. The loft master bed was the most comfortable I have ever experienced at a Vrbo property. Our host was so welcoming and available for anything we might need. The town of Westcliffe is so quaint and friendly. Highly reccommend a meal at Chappys on main street (our host's suggestion). This was the perfect getaway to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We had a week of full moons so we can't wait to return for some more star gazing and relaxation.
Nice small cabin close to trails. Amazing dark sky for stars.
Absolutely earns its branding for stargazing. And so blissfully quiet. A perfect place to get away, and we would absolutely book it again in the future. Only slight complaint is the oven doesn't seem to work, so I'd plan your meals around that. But it didn't hamper our enjoyment in the least.
This was a great spot to stay near Westcliffe. About 20 minutes from town. Super comfy bed, lovely linens, lots of towels, and a decently stocked kitchen in terms of pots, pans, etc. there are upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. Two bathrooms that are clean and well appointed. The hot tub is fabulous, well worth the extra fee. The location is out in the open but neighbors are far away enough that it feels private. The cabin is super clean and provides coffee, cooking supplies and spices. It felt very comfy snd we’ll definitely be back!
The property is beautiful. You can't ask for better views. The cabin was extremely clean and has everything you can think of. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. We had the hottub out on the front deck. It was perfect. We definitely fell in love with not only the property but westcliffe.
It was wonderful the view majestic the accommodation were clean an modern for a rental i would stay there again.could use new dials on stove top.thanks again
Nicely appointed cabin with amazing views of the Wetmore valley and mountains. Easy drive into Westcliffe with amenities and activities. Had a wonderful time
We had such a great time, the property was very comfortable and the view from the deck was amazing. Westcliffe is such a beautiful little town and there is so much to do!!
We had 5 adults and medium dog. Slept everyone comfortably. Kitchen/dining a bit small but more than adequate for meals. Bathrooms nice and unbeatable views. Property management communication was excellent. It's 5 miles up and in from 69 but roads are no problem. Peaceful and quiet area.
Place is perfect size for two. Kitchen is well appointed although small, fine for our needs. Wonderful to have the hot tub but not sure it was holding its temperature. Views were absolutely gorgeous. Rough not to have a wind break, though. Beds were comfortable. Necessary to have ceiling fan going almost all the time. Would be nice to have screens on all windows so they could be opened as well. Overall, enjoyed.
This place is excellent! Very peaceful and relaxing. The views are spectacular! We have already booked to come back in a few months.
Perfect for a 2-3 person group. Amazing views of the mountains and the stars at night.
I surprised my wife with this location to celebrate Valentines Day and her birthday. Everything about our stay was perfect, the views are breathtaking and the cabin was immaculate.
We had the best getaway experience with family. Having games provided for game night was awesome. Visiting Westcliffe was an adventure and a memory we won’t forget.
