Renovated River House on the Betsie in Northern Michigan

Stayed here for a long ski weekend with three families total. The house has plenty of space and all the amenities. The kids loved the basement area. Beautiful property. 4 min drive to Crystal Mt. great communication by the host and loved all the labels in the house. Comfortable beds and couches to lounge on after a long day of skiing. Was very clean. Would stay again!

The house was very clean, cozy and had everything that we needed. The instructions were very clear, everything was labeled and it was close to Crystal Mountain where we went skiing.

The house is very nice and very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay for a family getaway!

We had SUCH a wonderful time! The cabin is beautiful, clean, and accommodated all 9 of us so comfortably. The view of the river from the back deck was so pretty…we sat out there often. The fans in each room and blackout curtains were a nice touch…super cozy sleeping. The river is so fun for tubing! Get some tubes from the dollar general right around the corner. ;) 10/10!!

Awesome property with a nice walkway leading to the river. Plenty of space for all 8 of us and the property manager was great with communication leading up to the trip. Highly recommend and hope to book here again in the future.

Loved hosting our annual birthday trip up north for the Pure Michigan experience! This place was so welcoming, packed with resources and outdoor space! We enjoyed going down to the water, corn hole, a bonfire, and cooking out. Lovely property!

We had such a great time at the river house! More than enough space for 3 couples. Less than 5 minutes from Crystal Mountain. We had everything we needed for a cozy long weekend skiing and spending time with our family. Hosts were communicative and friendly. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!

Excellent house for our large skiing family. We were able to share meals, relax together, and enjoy snow at Crystal Mt. Everything was clean and comfortable, warm and easy, and reasonably priced. We’d stay here again. Thanks for allowing us to use your special place!

We came up for a weekend ski trip, and this was as good as you can get without being on property. Amenities were excellent, the river views were so gorgeous, it’s a moment away from iron fish distillery for great dinner/drinks! The beds were comfy, the bunk room can sleep 4 (2 sets of bunk beds) and there are two other big beds. Perfect place for a couple families. The house had air hockey and board games too The hosts were lovely and left us some welcome goodies too :)

We had a fantastic guys trip. I started this annual trip 30-years ago. We're still going strong. Our group goes golfing and fishing during our stay. The River house is perfect for our needs. Very comfortable and clean house. It is also perfectly located to nearby attractions like Crystal Mountain, Crystal Lake, Beulah, Frankfort, countless golf courses and many rivers and streams to try our luck.

The house was great for the 2 days we were there. The rooms were spacious and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. The deck was great to sit out on and visit with friends. The house was really clean. The basement had lots of games for the kids to play. The location was great. We loved being by the river and so close to Crystal Mountain and Lake Michigan.
