Remodeled log cabin near DeSoto Falls & Mentone

Beautiful little cabin in the woods.

We stayed a few days in January for our anniversary. We had a great time and hope to go back!

Absolutely the BEST cabin getaway! Me and my husband highly recommend and can not say enough how everything about this place was PERFECT! Great communication with the owner, everything you couls wish for in a cabin was there, and such a peaceful trip! If you cant pick a cabin for you and your spouse to get away. This is your sign, this is the one ❤️

The communication from the owner was great. I’m prior military, so communication is a must. The cabin is a visit again location.

The property was very nice. It was quiet. Loved the hot tub under its own cover. Hope to go back in the fall sometime. I think it would be beautiful!

The attention to detail is wonderful. The turkeys gobbling while I had morning coffee was such a pleasant way to greet the day. I highly recommend this retreat for anyone looking to de-frag and relax.

We loved everything about this cabin. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The host was easily accessible and really helpful, even helping to come up with some rainy day activities for us in the area. A big thumbs up!

This was our first time in Mentone and we will definitely be back. The cabin is decorated and equipped perfectly! When you first walk in all of your senses are pleased, the cabin smelled wonderful, your eyes are drawn to the beautiful hardwood floors, the comfy leather couch and the magnificent apron sink in the kitchen. The décor was perfect, it felt homey and cozy; you instantly want to curl up on the sofa and start reading a book. There were little touches throughout that made it even better, like the robes, the games, even the hand soap in the bathroom. Speaking of bathroom, the shower was awesome with the rain shower head and the detachable wand plus the heated fan. Our first night we had a pizza from Mentone Market around a campfire in the backyard. While sitting around the fire we counted 15 deer that walked from the neighbor's on the left through our yard to the neighbor on the right's yard. Right in front of the fire! We ended every night at the campfire and watched the deer for hours playing and eating in the neighbor's yard. We woke up every morning with a beautiful view from the loft upstairs looking down over the pond at the bottom of the ridge. You are centrally located to all the sites of Mentone and Fort Payne. We loved the hot tub and the ambiance of the chandelier and lights around the hot tub. I cannot say enough about how perfect this cabin is for a couple's getaway. Nathan is a great host, very responsive and great recs for dinner and things to do.

This is a fantastic place for a couple. Quiet and clean, with everything you could need for a weekend away. The owner was great too, super easy to get in touch with and very responsive.

This was above expectations. Very close to desoto falls and state park. The cabin is so clean and was very well stocked. The owners are very sweet and communicative. Will be coming back!

Always the best host and best cabin

My kids and I loved this cabin! It has to be the prettiest little cabin on the mountain. Big beautiful back yard to the woods. We even went horse back riding at Shady Grove Ranch!

Everything was fantastic! Enjoyed a much needed getaway for a relaxing weekend. We loved seeing the deer in the driveway from the kitchen window. The hot tub was spot on after hiking all afternoon. If not for Monday meetings we would stay an extra day.

My wife and I loved our short stay at this cabin. It was clean, well stocked, and tastefully decorated. Out of all the VRBOs I have stayed at, this one felt the most like home. It’s quaint, quiet, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. Deer walked right across the property. The neighbors rode by and waved at us. The host communicated well and made sure that we had a great visit. The bed was more comfortable than my own. This is a great place for a couple- just the right size.

My girlfriend and I couldn’t have loved it more. It was peaceful and secluded and had everything we needed. It is cozy & open concept with loft bed, so if you’re in love with your partner & just want to connect in a private setting then it is the best possible place you could stay. & the vibe of the place itself couldn’t be better for those that want to connect with nature & feel grounded. I know we will never forget our stay! Many thanks from my heart.

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very cute, comfortable, and clean. We grilled dinner each evening and relaxed in the hot tub. We were able to unwind and spend quality time together. It was great!
