Nice place. Well appointed and comfortable. It rained most of our time there. So the screened back porch was great. Owners made it easy with great suggestions

Ideal for quiet girls weekend! Cabin was super clean- decorated beautifully & loaded with charm! Both upper and lower deck had sitting areas for quiet morning coffee & main deck was perfect evening dinner space! Beds are comfortable and a first ever- we had a selection of pillow firmness-unexpected but much appreciated touch! We cook most meals and the kitchen was extremely accommodating-a grill was available but we decided to cook top on the fantastic gas stove- love me a good gas stove!!! Owner personally touched base with us and ensure we were happy with accommodations and made himself readily available for anything we might need. On a scale of 1-10 this is an absolute 12!!!! Oh the view off the decks is SPECTACULAR!!! A must for a peaceful- restorative - getting reacquainted vacay for sure!

What a fabulous place for a getaway. The location was easily found and overlooks the fabulous view of the mountains and valley. It was clean and the mattress was excellent (which is most important).

This cabin is cozy and beautiful! It was extremely clean! Very convenient to DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon. The host was extremely helpful and easy to contact. We can’t wait to stay here again!

It is a great property,just be aware that stairs are involved.We are older the stairs made it harder for us but would be perfect for younger folks!

This was our fifth stay at this fabulous cabin. The upgrades were nice (king bed upstairs, new chairs in dining area and new furniture in the living area). Communication with the host is excellent. We will be returning.

We had a great time! We were able to hike and explore all day and return to a cozy cabin to rest and relax. The house was clean and just as described. Our host checked in on us after our first night and was hospitable and helpful. We would definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Cabin was very private and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Bed (king) was super comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk to Brow Park. Be advised that king bed is in a loft and twin beds are down a spiral staircase (didn’t use that bedroom). It wasn’t a problem for us, just know before you go. Bathroom is on main level, so hopefully very few nighttime bathroom trips. Kevin is an excellent host. We had no issue during our stay.

Lower level bedroom difficult to maneuver. Cabin itself very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Bird Roost. It was quiet, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics, which made cooking easy and convenient. One of our favorite parts was the back porch. Perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or winding down in the evening. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and recharge.

The home was very cozy and was very accommodating for our family. My wife and I were able to enjoy the main bedroom while our two daughters enjoyed the downstairs area. The home made our visit to Mentone a very enjoyable experience.

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin is precious, well-decorated, and extremely clean. The host reached out to us to ensure our stay was going well. The procedures for checking in and checking out were simple. When I left an item at the cabin, the owner worked quickly with housekeeping to ensure its quick return. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Mentone!

The cabin was beautiful warm and cozy. The property is well maintained and it is easy to see it is well loved in all the small details, window dressing, artwork as well as furnishings. Just a wonderful and beautiful stay. Also, has a great view and walking distance to Wildflower. We both recommend this property and look forward to staying there again!

This house in Mentone was the perfect weekend getaway. Beautifully decorated with ample space for us within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Mentone. The cozy cabin had a comfortable seating in front of fireplace that was perfect for reading, working a puzzle, or watching football. We would love to visit again.

Was happy to find this last-minute for the Thanksgiving holiday. Was in a great location and the owner went over and above to make sure we were happy. Overall a great stay in Mentone!

The cottage is in a great location near Mentone spots like the Wildflower Cafe, the Sallie Howard Church and walking distance to a great sunset at Brow Park. The home is exactly as described, clean and well-stocked. The owner/manager was incredibly responsive when we couldn't figure out the heat/air (which was very easy once pointed in the right direction). We would stay here again.
