YOU GOTTA CHECK THIS OUT! THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL VACATION RENTAL. IT IS A HIGH END HOME! DON'T BE PUT OFF BY THE BEDROOM COUNT! There are 4 sleeping areas.PLEASE READ ON for the full description. Missed Winter Don't miss Summer! It is so quiet and peaceful. Want the absolute finest and won't compromise This is the real deal! THE PICTURES DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE! REALLY!

It is a high end custom home with so many unique features you won't find elsewhere. If you are looking for impeccable craftsmanship and something really different that is 5 star quality and a cut above all the rest, you've found it! This is the very best! Hand built by the owner with materials from around the world, this 3500 square feet home sits on 4 manicured acres. It features pines and a huge grove of Aspen trees bathed in a sea of wildflowers (when in season).
And we have a pond just outside the dining room!

This is not a kid friendly house and we try very hard to make it top notch. We have to limit the number of quests due to septic restrictions. It IS the finest place to stay for adults and older children. Absolutely no pets to maintain the pristine condition.

Water feature In the front yard and viewable from the dining room is a seasonal stream that cascades over a 400 ton rock waterfall. This provides drinking water for the wildlife that gathers here. Wildlife On any given day you could see DEER, ELK, BEAR, BOBCAT, RACCOON, RABBIT,SQUIRREL, COYOTE and our resident WILD TURKEYS, all frequently drinking. In the past we even had Condors! With 9 skylights, there is plenty of natural illumination and the massive walls make the home a refuge of solitude.

Log accents and vaulted ceilings abound. The upper level features a vaulted entry through an oversize handmade mesquite door, living room with wood stove, kitchen with dual fuel range, microwave oven, dishwasher, enormous garden window, and distressed hickory cabinets. Of course, almost every kitchen appliance and utensil you could want is there, too. Decks: There are two, one in the front and back. The rear deck overlooks the area where the Mountain Man Rendezvous scene from 'Centennial was filmed.

At night, relax and watch the canopy of stars in the velvet sky. Want entertainment Enjoy the Home Theater: Not a TV with a few speakers, this is a dedicated 5.1 channel audiophile room with high end equipment, acoustically tuned, and recliner chairs for 3. In addition there are 2 additional chairs to move around for extra people. The sound quality easily exceeds commercial theaters.

Kitchen: Just about every imaginable appliance and tool you need is there. Propane gas grill is outside on the front deck.

Bedrooms: All have luxurious high end mattresses and the finest bedding.

The master suite has a king bed facing the stone gas powered fireplace, and a wall of mirrors covering the walk-in closet. The master bath is a wonder of stone imported from Greece, India, Mexico, Italy, Brazil and Tennessee with a rock wall on one side. A vessel sink is framed by two antler sconces which tie in to all the other light fixtures in the home. This room is also accessible from the front deck.

Down the beetle-killed pine spiral stairs to the lower level and you'll find a tiled tour-de-force full bath, a smaller bedroom with a trundle bed, and an open luxurious Cal King Royal Pedic Latex Cloud bed suite with a huge stone fireplace fronted by a solid copper grille, complete with its own TV. Off in its own room is another King pillowtop bed and leather massage chair, ready to ease those stiff muscles from a day of hiking. All bedrooms except trundle room have tv's.

Work it out! There is a mirrored exercise room complete with home gym, bicycle on magnetic track stand, dumbbells and a bench!

Sit out on the porch at night and watch the moon through the quaking leaves of the aspen trees. Solitude, yet only 4 miles from downtown Estes Park. Rest your body and your mind.

Hiking: Just out the door and up the road to the National Forest, 1 1/2 miles to RNMP, or take the short 4 mile hike to downtown Estes Park. It's easy going but uphill all the way back. Dining: Some of the best dining is close by, and you don't have to fight the traffic to get there. There is a door to the master suite but the wall is open across the top. This is an open plan and the privacy comes from being the only bedroom upstairs.

Please Note: Absolutely no tobacco products of any kind and we request you leave your shoes in the entryway. There are plenty of slippers for your use. Sorry, no pets of any kind, and children TWELVE and over due to the exceptional high end finish and safety issues. Please ask if you might have an exception. We are also limited to 6 people total as this is on a septic system and this is a county regulation However, for the ultimate luxury stay that exceeds high end hotels, and for those that appreciate and can take care of a fine home, this property has no peer. Read the reviews and rest assured that it will exceed your expectations and is much more impressive than the photos convey. No one is ever disappointed.

Disclosure: There is a Ring doorbell on the front porch aimed at the driveway, another camera looking to the street, and a Ring security light/camera at the rear door aimed down the hill. These are only occasionally looked at to check weather mainly in the winter to monitor snow levels.

We just enjoyed a wonderful 6 night stay in this beautiful property. The house was beautiful and perfect for my husband and I. Our friends also came . Each couple had our own level! We spent a lot of time sitting at the kitchen table watching the wildlife out the wrap around windows. We saw so many turkeys and deer. We had a herd of elk in the yard one day. We loved watching them and hearing them bugle from the kitchen windows and the beautiful back deck. We also looked at the beautiful stars from the back deck. Definitely hope to return. Michael was great to work with! The location is close to town but so private once you are at the cabin.

Vrbo sent us incorrect directions to the property from the Denver airport, which sent us an hour out of our way. They did not provide us with the address of the property until we called a second time to request it. We arrived to find that the property was already occupied by the absent owner, who had made a mistake in his calendar. Vrbo's representative spent 20 minutes on the phone insisting we send him pictures to prove the property was occupied before connecting us to the property owner who readily admitted his mistake and treated us to a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant. We were fortunate to find a hotel with room for us (at considerable added expense on a Friday night), but have not heard anything further from Vrbo in the way of an apology or compensation for the inconvenience created.

The house was very nice, pulled a trailer up to it and didn’t have much trouble. I will say, if you’re expecting privacy, look somewhere else. I’ve used Vrbo for many stays over the years, never once have I interacted with the owner in person. That was not the case here. The owner, Mike, was pretty much there all the time but at night and some times throughout the day. Quickly turned into being nervous coming back seeing if he was there or not. I read reviews and all the description (I’m extremely picky about these things) and never was it mentioned. Maybe I missed something, either way. He had this whole story about projects he’s got going there and why he needed to be there. There’s a building on the property about 70 yards east of the house that he was at during all this. It wasn’t just being there for a couple minutes, one day he had someone there with him and they were power washing the skid steer. Had me wondering why in the heck did I pay X amount of dollars to have this private place in the mountains for a week. We realized this was going to continue if we didn’t say something, so I did talk to him to let him know we were uncomfortable with him there. You would think when someone hears that they would immediately leave, not this guy. During that conversation as well he explicitly told me he didn’t want me to leave a bad review. Well, here we are. I did enjoy the house, but be aware of him being there.

Great Host! Michael was attentive and helpful at every turn, even recommending restaurants and places to visit. WIldlife all around. He even provided feed for the many turkeys that came to beg for food and visit every day. They were often waiting for us when we came out the front door. Home offers every amenity that you can imagine. Stay here!

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Michael's house. The house is very large and accommodating and very convenient for exploring Estes Park and RMNP. Now that I can visualize the area better, I would have opted for a house in the valley with 360 deg views as so many of them have. This house is tucked away in the woods - which made it great for elk watching which was quite incredible. There's a herd of about 40-50 elk that graze around the house every morning and evening. Beds were all very comfortable, great showers and kitchen well supplied. I could never get past the huge Elvis statue which creeped us all out so we never went into the den/TV room unfortunately.

We visited Estes Park and RMNP with our daughter and her boyfriend for a weekend. The location of the home is PERFECT, out of the craziness of “downtown” Estes Park and kind of in the wilderness, but really only a few minutes from the action when we did want to go there. We saw elk, deer, and lots of turkeys in the yard and down the street. Very close to RNMP, about 10-15 mins. Mike greeted us when we arrived and showed us a few things in his house (turkey/wildlife feed, how to work the all-house fan, etc.) Very nice guy, he even offered the spices and condiments in the kitchen for our use. (Thanks!) I was a little worried about the heat with no AC on the main floor, but it was no problem at all. Very comfortable. We watched a movie in the media room one night and grilled burgers on the grill another night. He even provided a basket of slippers for us to wear, which we did! (Mike, you need some larger slipppers, we had an 6’4” guy with us, no slippers his size!) Amenities are great. The house itself is beautiful, and Mike did all of the work himself. He even shared a photo album of the house being built with us, really interesting! It’s very clear this house is a labor of love for Mike and I am very thankful we had the opportunity to stay there. Would stay again.

Perfect for our family. Clean and roomy. Everyone had their own space to spread out. The location was perfect for driving into RMNP and back into the Boulder area when we had to be at the fields. Definitely recommend this property and would stay again in the future.

House: Nice location, close to downtown. Interior choices were different...a little weird (life size Elvis statue) it scared my wife and kids a few times but overall it was mostly funny. The host was nice but he insisted on meeting us, which I have never had to deal with in the past and he seemed to be constantly checking in. Nice guy and all but it was way way more contact than I would have liked. He insisted on giving us a tour of the house and mentioned multiple times how people had stolen things from his home. There were noted on everything about what not to do and it left a weird feeling to the stay. Too intrusive. If it is too difficult to rent your place out to people knowing that it might get damaged in some way you probably shouldn't be doing it.

This is my second time staying at the property. First time was in 2015 and the second time was September 2024. Not much has changed in close to 10 years. The house is very clean and well maintained. The pics on the listing are representative of the actual house. In 2015 we say baby turkeys, in 2024 there are numerous turkeys that stop and cost the property. There are also deer and bunnies that visit the property. Michael is a great host. He lives on the property now in a separate building and was very responsive to our needs the two times I asked him questions or needed help with something. I enjoyed the property so much that I stayed there a second time 9 years later, which I never have done, so needless to say I think it is a great property well suited for a family and/or family and friends stay with a great host!

This was the perfect place for our weekend away with Family. We wanted a peaceful and quiet cabin outside of town and this delivered. The cabin is beautiful and the details and care given to make sure we were comfortable were amazing. We loved being greeted by the turkeys every morning and it was fun to walk around the property. Mike is an amazing host!th!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Mr. Bryant is a wonderful host who went above and beyond to help us with all of our questions. We were even able to check in early. I was quite concerned about the wildfires in the area, but he assured us that they were not moving in our direction and would keep us posted if anything changed. Even though we were visiting during a heat wave, we were quite comfortable in the cabin. The lower level was quite cool, and the main level cooled off quickly in the evenings. I really appreciated all of the details in the home. We even had to take a family photo with Elvis to send back to my mom. There were six of us. Each of the boys wanted a bed to themselves and this was a good set up. We also enjoyed the extra living room and abundance of TVs with streaming services. The kitchen was well stocked and would have been enjoyable to cook in, but we spent most of our time in the National Park. The turkeys, squirrels, and bunnies were so fun to watch in the mornings. Overall, I would have loved to have stayed longer and spent more time enjoying the amenities.

We got to see the Milky Way from the back porch and feed the wild turkey chicks from the front. Mike lives just down the road and is available anytime for questions. I definitely recommend! We
