Poppy's Cabin at Stoney Creek is a special place where you can relax and rejuvenate. This one-bedroom cabin with a loft is perfect for a getaway. Located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can sit on the large screened in front porch and enjoy your coffee while listening to the creek and enjoying the scenery. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. The cozy living room features an electric fireplace, T.V, recliner, and couch. The bedroom is quaint and cozy and adjoins the back deckwith a screened in porch. The bedroom also adjoins the bathroom where you can take a shower or enjoy relaxing in the soaker tub with your favorite beverage. The loft features two futons that can be used for additional guests. The loft does have loft steps to get up there so please use caution on them. The cabin also features an outside solo stove, Blackstone grill, and the picnic table is located in the large front yard. Walk across the gravel road and enjoy Stoney Creek as it flows off of the mountain. Wildlife is abundant at the cabin so please use good judgement. I also offer a free laundry service for longer stays. It's private but only 10 miles to the town of Bedford which is worth exploring! Convenient to the Peaks of Otter and not far from Lynchburg or Roanoke. We look forward to having you come stay at Poppy's Cabin at Stoney Creek.

Such a cozy and welcoming place! It was very easy to find, and Stephanie was a wonderful host—responsive, kind, and thoughtful. She even left us a sweet holiday treat, which was such a nice touch. The space was peaceful and comfortable, and I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10!

Very clean, warm, and cozy! A perfect secluded getaway that was also easy to get too. Had a great time when a snow storm turned the area into a winter wonderland.It’s easy to tell how much Stephanie cares for this cabin. I can guarantee you’ll enjoy you’re stay here.

Fantastic place to stay. Everything was clean and well-built, not cheap like lots of rental places I've stayed in. The owners were extremely nice! They left us muffins and set up the fire pit for us before we got there. I'd absolutely stay here again.
