Bedford Cabin w/ Porch, 5 Mi to Historic District!

The cabin itself was very rustic with hand hewn lumber all over including some of the furniture. On the other hand, all appliances were state of the art and the decor was both eclectic and elegant. The surroundings were very peaceful, beautiful and had abundant wildlife to watch.

Pristine and beautifully decorated/equipped cabin. Awesome Mountain View’s and yet close to town. Enjoyed the wild turkeys and other nature too. Cookies and cupcakes wonderful touch. Recommending property to bike training group in town for other participants to know about.

The stay was perfection! The scenic private stay was a great breath of fresh air. The house was perfectly designed and equipped with everything needed. The fall decor and special treats greeting us were the cherry on top.

We loved everything about the cabin. It was everything we hoped for. Clean, private, and peaceful. Only suggestion is to tell your guest to use Google Maps to get to your location.

We got exactly what we wanted, a secluded, well-appointed, charming log cabin with beautiful views of the Peaks of Otter. We loved it.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The house is great and very well maintained. It has everything you need. The views were outstanding. I would definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We were looking for a place close to the parkway to celebrate our 29th anniversary. The setting of this cabin was perfect. It felt secluded, even though we were close to everything we needed. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out.

The log cabin was a delightful surprise and a wonderful break from the noise and busy-ness of life. We loved sitting on the porch watching geese fly overhead, cows in the distance, and beautiful sunsets with the mountains in the background. The cabin is cozy and comfortable, and beautifully decorated. (Be sure to ask for detailed driving directions, our GPS couldn’t find it! We called Dennis and he talked us through finding the cabin until we arrived.)

Wonderful way to spend our 7 yr anniversary. Beautiful veiws and peaceful. Loved bird wayching and looking at the deer and cows! Will be back.

This was our 34th wedding anniversary trip I have to say it was more than we expected, it was so pleasing and serine. We could see the cabin way up on the hill from the road how exciting, as we ventured up the road to the cabin it dipped, across a little bridge it was just great. We thank the owners so much for the goodies, the swing was wonderful. We cannot wait to return this was truly a wonderful stay.Ronald and Phyllis

This house was on a working farm - far enough away to feel alone in the beautiful fields but close enough to watch the cows and deer from the porch at night. The house was very cozy and had just what we needed for supplies. The highlight was the porch and firepit for relaxing and watching the sunset over the mountains. It was a peefect spot .d. istfoth

Beautiful cabin with amazing sunsets. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for peace and quiet. The internet and TV service was out when we stayed, but still thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would book this cabin again. It is equipped with everything you need and had a really nice treat left for us when we got there. Highly recommended!

What a great property this is! The cabin was cozy, well kept, and perfectly secluded away from everything. Star gazing out here is a must!! We also enjoyed the fire place and it’s customizable colors and the view from the front porch in the morning. The sweet treats provided upon checkout were an excellent plus as well. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely book here!
