Private Log Cabin, 4 min walk to Torch Lake

The cabin is right next to a hiking trail which is also dog friendly. Neighborhood is quiet. Nice food choices within driving distance. Excellent view of sunset from lake. Thank you!

Host was great with communication & quite helpful with info on the cabin & places to eat. The cabin was very clean, and well stockedExpected not to be able to access Wi-Fi due to the area. DVD player was not working.

Cute little cabin with all the amenities at a great value. Big lot located right at the base of a hiking trail, right across the street from Torch Lake and gas and grocery right down the road. it was perfect for a quick weekend getaway and we hope to come back this summer.

We had a very disappointing experience with this property and feel obligated to warn future guests.When we arrived, it was immediately clear the unit had not been cleaned from the previous guests. When we pulled back the sheets on the main bed, we found multiple types of hair under the sheets along with visible stains. Hoping it was just that bed, we checked the spare bedding, but all of it was also dirty, stained, and covered in hair.We pulled out the futon hoping it might be usable, but it was covered in dog hair and sand from previous guests. At that point it was obvious the unit had not been properly cleaned between stays. We also found both live and dead bugs in the unit.We attempted to contact the host and reached out to VRBO through their platform while we were there. After getting nowhere and realizing the property was not in a condition to stay in, we left after about an hour and booked a hotel instead.The next morning the hosts messaged us through VRBO agreeing to a 100% refund, but when we attempted to get the refund they denied it. Despite the written agreement, VRBO was zero help resolving the situation.The listing’s claims about cleanliness were misleading, the unit was clearly not cleaned between guests, and the hosts went back on their promise to refund us. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property.

Super cute! Great neighborhood! Very clean and the hosts were great! Fully stocked and has everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! We enjoyed our stay. The area is beautiful.

Cute cabin that was very clean! Made me think about my childhood cabin on the lake. Supplies were provided for the bathroom and to start a fire.

Over all, we were satisfied with our stay although the futon and sofa were not comfortable in our opinion. We would also suggest that you bring your own water since there was a metallic taste to the water from the faucet.

Our family had a wonderful experience! We will definitely be staying again!
