Private Forest Cabin with Wrap-Around Deck, Fireplaces & Unlimited Hiking

The owners of the property were awesome, friendly informative. The house was beautiful. The 2 acres was just amazing to walk out. The forest was quiet .elk coming up walking around the house. It was just an amazing place. Probably one of the best places I’ve ever rented.

Great house in the woods! Love the fenced yard for the dog. Water wheel is a great hike and water day get out and see it!

Great property! Exactly as advertised. Very secluded and quiet. The beds and sheets were the most comfortable of any VRBO I have stayed in. Communication with the host was very fast and friendly. My wife and I look forward to staying here again!

Quiet neighborhood. Lots of room for our family of 5 adults and the pups. We liked the openness downstairs. The huge windows were so nice, not only for the view but the breezes too. Spent a lot of time in the yard. The pups loved the yard. The fenced area was secure for them. It was great weather for the hammocks during the day and a fire at night. Lots of places to hike. We didn't have any kids with us, but there were some fun things for them as well, inside and out, a treehouse, tree swing, and zipline, games, puzzles and DVDs. We saw and heard some coyotes, but not much else. Would definitely stay again!

Great property for a getaway. The hosts truly have thought of everything, including pet dishes for when you accidentally leave one at home. The deck was perfect for playing cards and games, picnicking, and just enjoying the perfect weather. Plenty of fenced space for your fur babies to play. Will definitely return.

What a fantastic relaxing and peaceful stay with so much availability to hike and enjoy nature. The fenced in yard is perfect for your pup and also the wrap around deck has gates so they don't escape. Nice large home with plenty of sleeping space and 2.5 bathrooms. Brick is very prompt in replying to messages and accommodating! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We had a lovely 12 night stay. The property is homey and welcoming to guests and pets. Having the crate and pen plus a fenced yard were wonderful! We did run out of paper products and dish and laundry detergents-and it’s quite the trip to the store so that was disappointing not to have enough supplied for our stay. And the house could use a bit of TLC-broken furniture (living room, dining room and patio) and a/c that wasn’t cooling upstairs. But the house and patio are laid out well and the owner super to work with. We’ll book again!

Great cabin close enough to town for any exploration but far enough in the mountains to be in nature, slept 9 of us a dog perfectly and met all our needs

This cabin was truly awesome! It was nicely secluded and backed up to forest land where we were able to take walks with the family. It was extremely clean and was stocked with all necessities as well as many fun amenities. The host was very responsive, helpful and easy to work with. Our family enjoyed our time at Whispering Pines and would stay there again for sure!

We loved our stay here - everything was just as described, very comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, property was great. Communication was excellent and check in/out was very simple. Highly recommend!

The stay was Great! 7 min drive from water wheel waterfall parking . The home is fenced which is nice for the dogs . My family and another family stayed . A total of 10 of us. Plenty of bed/sleeping space . Nice clean home.
