Perfect place for sweethearts

Great little place for a couple., the driveway was a little scary but understandable since the old roas is gone.

Everything was perfect. Such a cute place. Wish we could have stayed longer! We may have to come back for a full weekend.

Extremely cute cabin, the area is so close to plenty of cool trails and waterfalls, and after you can relax in the very clean hot tub. The local restaurants were amazing, we got great food and live music.

Fully equipped, secluded and perfect for our weekend get away. Looking forward to returning!

This place never dissapoints! This was our 2nd stay and it was wonderful!!! Everything is so clean and neat! it is sooooo relaxing! so close to town! We will be back again sooner than later! thank you so much!

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary trip and it was awesome! Perfect for 2 people. Clean and had what we needed. Hot tub was great and cute view. Will be back hopefully!

Very welcoming

The cabin was cozy and welcoming. The location is very convenient to Saluda, Flat Rock, and Hendersonville. We enjoyed the fire pit area and would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent stay! The cabin was very easy to find from the directions provided by the hosts and checkin was a breeze. Upon arrival, the cabin was very clean and cozy. The kitchen provided the perfect amount of space for cooking meals and the outdoor deck was great for grilling and enjoying time in the hot tub. The indoor space was great for winding down with plenty of windows to enjoy the view. Even when we lost power for a few hours due to a storm the hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

There were plenty of towels for bathing and to use for the hot tub. The kitchen provided plenty of room for cooking meals and the outdoor space was perfect for grilling. The quiet surroundings allowed to ultimate relaxation all weekend. Even when the power went out for a few hours during our stay, our hosts were easy to contact and helpful. The cabin was so cute and relaxing. The driveway was steep and the road to the cabin was rough, but other than that it was excellent!

The place is perfectly secluded yet close to town. It is very small but perfect for what me and the wife wanted. Really the only down side is that driveway is STEEP.

Very nice cozy place

First of all, Our host, Penny, gave accurate directions. She responds within minutes, if you reach out. When we arrived, the first thing we saw was the fantastic view. The tiny house is perfect. Very equipped for 2. Wi-Fi is excellent and that surprised us because of the remote location. Great, perfectly maintained hot tub too! It was all wonderful. Really hope to get back there several times a year.

We had an enjoyable four-night stay, except for some bug bites while sleeping the last two nights. Very private and a quiet setting in nature. The cabin is well outfitted, and we were impressed with the quality of the dishes and cookware.

We wish we had been alerted to the need for charcoal. Lighter Fluid was there. We also expected some kind of toiletries like shampoo or body wash neither was there. It might also be helpful to know the type of coffee maker that was available.

Ok, every review mentioned the driveway but let me tell you, I probably should have listened! It was wet and getting dark and I could barely get my SUV up the driveway. It took about 3 attempts. My wheels were unable to get traction with such a slippery, strep and long incline. You absolutely have to gun it. Also, there is no sign so be sure to read the driving directions very carefully. It was hard to find at first. That said, the location is awesome. So quiet and no noise pollution from neighbors or roads. Just the sound of the creek and the birds. Cabin is simple, yet clean and comfortable. All we needed. Thanks for the stay!

My brother and I booked this location for my parents. They thoroughly enjoyed it and the cabin was beautiful. Perfect for a couples getatway.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Carra’s Cabin! It was quaint, quiet, and just as outlined on the site.

Carra's Cabin is like a slice of heaven.We enjoyed the peaceful ,beautiful setting. Sitting on the deck in the evenings we listened to the rush of water and watched fire flies. Perfect for a couple.

Carras Cabin was the perfect weekend reset—peaceful, private, and utterly rejuvenating. We’ll definitely be back. This tiny cabin is perfectly appointed, cozy den, kitchen with everything needed to cook a meal with coffee in the morning. A tidy bedroom, bathroom and hot tub. We were able to enjoy downtown Saluda and hike Moore’s Cove Falls and take in Looking Glass Falls.

We stayed 3 nights in Carra's Cabin in May 2025 and it is a nice tiny house tucked away in the hills outside of Saluda. Definitely heed the other reviews about the steepness of the driveway. You can tell there was significant flooding damage to the road leading to the house but it was all passable. For us, the house was great - we weren't planning to spend a lot of time there - if you were going in weather where you planned to mostly stay indoors, just know it's relatively small and basic. But again, for what it was, it was great.

the lockbox code on two of the cabins were the same code, created confusion once up on the mountain and only one cabin visible from the road, the lockbox on the wrong cabin ended up unlocking with the code that was provided, stayed in the wrong cabin on accident one night. had to leave wedding early to move items. owner threatened to move our stuff if we weren’t to get back to move all of our stuff out. we complied. also was accused of turning off hot tub disconnect AFTER the cleaning lady had came through and cleaned the hot tub in the other cabin.

It was very nice and quiet, I enjoyed spending my birthday there, hubby enjoyed the hot tub, thanks so much for a beautiful place to stay. We will book again in the future.

The stay and the cabin are exactly as described and worked well for our weekend getaway. Beautiful sunrise! The area was hit hard by Helene and is recovering well! Roads are a bit unnerving if you are not from around the area. Definitely want to arrive during the day and if you can, drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We took our Ram 1500 truck and it struggled briefly at the getting up at the beginning of the steep driveway.

Everything about the place was perfect for us. It was so peaceful and the cabin was the perfect size for us. It was cozy and comfortable. You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for peace and quiet and no distractions. You can hear the water and there is no light pollution to take away from the beautiful night sky. Can’t say enough good things about Carra’s Cabin.

If you drive a hybrid, be careful going up the driveway. Other than that, we had a great weekend away from the normal hustle!

I was referred by a friend and I’m so glad I took her suggestion! Everything about this cabin was absolutely beautiful! The view sitting in the hot tub was breath taking! Really felt at home without being at home definitely making this my yearly getaway! Thank you so much for having us!

This is by far the best place we have stayed at in Saluda. We loved the hot tub! And short drive to town. We will definitely stay again!

We loved our stay here! We were surrounded by a beautiful view and enjoyed exploring Saluda. We ate at the Purple Onion and we highly recommend it! Our hosts were awesome at being responsive whenever we had questions. This is a wonderful place to stay for a mountain getaway!

Husband and I got away for the weekend to reconnect, have good conversation about this past year and the year upcoming. Enjoyed the quiet (thanks for minimal cell service and internet not working - seriously, that was a win in my book to take out distractions of the world!) lovely spot to hangout and enjoy each others company and the outdoors! Would have been safer to bring the truck but we made it up the steep driveway in my car - get good momentum and don’t touch the brakes. The road had been cleared pretty well considering the damage after hurricane Helene. Continued prayers for rebuilding and small business fall/big season tourism! Loved eating in town!

This property was perfect for a secluded getaway.
