The house was comfortable for our entire family. Lots of space to spread out, big table was great for playing games, garage space was great for cornhole tournament, and close to Lead/Deadwood. House was clean and decorated nicely. The entire family loved the house, and we would definitely book again in the future.The kitchen could use a few more pan/pots for cooking.

Everything was great. I would definitely do that house again for the size group that we had!

The kitchen is way under supplied with everyday necessary things such as enough cooking utensils measuring devices and such. The walls are very thin I would guess very little if any insulation if you have small children napping this is a problem. Cleanliness on the inside was adequate but the outdoor spaces could definitely use a good cleaning esp around the hot tub area. The dishwasher bottom drawer was broken parts were missing so it was not usable to load it with plates and such because you could not easily slide it in and out. Overall it was a lovely lodge and very spacious and in a beautiful setting.

We got the family together to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday! We have 9 kids and 6 grandchildren so this is a great house for a big family! With 7 bedrooms there is privacy if people want to get away from the chaos! The house is very cozy and welcoming! The Pit Boss griddle was perfect for big breakfasts, hibachi, and smash burgers! Kitchen is well stocked other than it could use a big pot and larger fry pan, and a baking dish! The scenery is beautiful! Highly recommend staying here!

Very nicely done. Layout of bedrooms and baths were excellent for a group of 15…12 adults (6 couples) and 3 infants and we didn’t even use the adorable 6-bunk beds!! Walking distance from pools; great parking that accommodated 8 vehicles. I would definitely come again!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! It was perfect for our family vacation to Mount Rushmore. We also enjoyed Deadwood. We booked a local wine tasting tour. Overall it was a great family vacation

It is close to Lead/Deadwood and also to Recreational Springs and Cheyenne Crossing. We enjoyed a great place to make our breakfast (egg bake, Breakfast burritos, muffins and toast) before leaving for snowmobiling. The steak, lasagna and pizza were great after snowmobiling! Hot tub, Foosball, games & cards and just reminiscing were evening activities. Would recommend for great family times!!

We cozied by the fire, warmed in the hot tub, feasted in the massive kitchen, cheered our football teams on the big screen, night swam at the club house, and had a spike ball tourney in the garage. Plus the sunrise is amazing. This home is everything you’re looking for and more. Don’t pass it up.

Your place was awesome!!! We loved that there were king beds and bathrooms with most of the rooms!!! Nice open concept!! The garage was also a nice bonus room for the kids and adults to play!!!

There was plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably and close drive to deadwood if we wanted to go to town. We will definitely be renting again!

The accommodations were excellent, with space to gather as a group, while also providing ample space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for meal preparation. The sleeping arrangements were a perfect match for our group. The location of the lodge made the accessibility to the clubhouse/pool within easy walking distance. With Lead being nearby, grocery supplies were convenient. Our family really enjoyed the stay at the Rusty Lantern Lodge.

The homes were beautifully decorated but lack the basic necessities for 26 people. Inside and out we were never able to be totally together. All the accessories on the table and countertop etc had to be removed to make room for food for our family of 26!! Wew would have appreciated a better appointed kitchen along with a hotpot or kettle and pots and dish towels and let’s not forget a drain rack of sorts. There was only one oven mitt. The list could be longer but I am certain that you now know the immediate solution. Lastly we thoroughly enjoyed the space and would recommend it to anyone who might ask.

The house had all the amenities we needed with the hot tub, spaces for kids to sleep, games, access to the pool, etc. The only (small) downfall was maybe location for us because we had to drive to all the attractions we wanted to visit.
