I spent 3 nights at this quaint little cabin. I work long hours in downtown Nashville, so I was looking for somewhere quiet, yet close, where I could recharge my batteries for a few days. This place absolutely fit the bill! The host, Molly, was extremely responsive each time we communicated. On check-in day, she sent me detailed instructions. The cabin was only a 30 minute drive from my home - with the change of scenery, it seemed a world away! I found that the instructions were perfect, making check in a breeze. The historic cabin was very comfortable and appointed with rustic decor. It had all the amenities I would need! I didn't locate the bottles of water that were advertised as provided due to not being able to drink from the cabin's rainwater system, but it was not an issue as I had brought my own bottled water. My favorite part of the cabin was outside: the relaxing porch and the outdoor fire pit. I spent hours sitting by the fire every evening, just listening to the sounds of nature. I even got a visit from my new buddy, Bowie, the host's dog! The only minor inconvenience was that Alexa had been set to announce the time and weather each morning at 7:10AM. Since I was alone, the voice scared me awake, but I quickly recognized who it was and laughed. The next two mornings, I was up early, so looked forward to the morning weather report! I had an amazing stay and will most definitely be back! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

We liked the property and the location. It was secluded near the woods and very quiet. We were a little disappointed that we did not hear from the host until four hours from check-in and that was after I had reached out. Once we were in touch, the host was easy to communicate with. Our biggest disappointment was that there was no potable water at the cabin, and we were not aware of this until our first communication four hours before our arrival. When we arrived, there were six bottles of water, and we assumed we would be given more the next day as we went through those six quickly with drinking and coffee. We contacted the host and she said she could get some for us, but it wouldn't be until later that evening. Because of that, we just got our own water. There was plenty of water for bathing, but we just didn't feel comfortable cooking without potable water. We rechecked the listing to see if that was indicated but did not see that it was. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice, the host was available during our stay, and we enjoyed the interaction with the pets. We did have trouble with cell phones, but we knew that going in and were ok with it.

I had the best time at the cabin… it exceeded my expectations and the listing photos don’t do it justice! It’s modernized and still has all sorts of rustic charm. I enjoyed waking up to roosters and hanging out with the host’s dog and cats. The bed is amazing. The kitchen is stocked. The surroundings are peaceful. I feel rested and rejuvenated and i did not want to leave!

We had a beautiful stay at Natchez Hideaway. Molly and Joel’s cabin is wonderful. Everything you need and even what you don’t think you’ll need it’s available to use. The decor and attention to detail is one of the many things that makes this place magical. We took our two year old and Molly made sure to have a toy section just for him upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. The two guard dogs are so friendly and great walk companions, my husband wanted to bring them home . We hope to be back soon for more time away from city life.

My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. This was the PERFECT place for a cozy couple weekend celebration. The cabin is located about 28 minutes from downtown Nashville, but we thoroughly enjoyed the drive to and from the cabin. What beautiful countryside!!! The cabin was so rustic and peaceful. Our kind of place. It is now one of our favorite places to visit and best memories. We did not want to leave and will be back. Thank you for sharing this little piece of heaven with the rest of the world. You are blessing to so many! I hope when the time comes to visit Tennessee again, we will have the opportunity to stay at the Natchez Hideaway cabin again. May God bless all who have the opportunity to experience this perfect little cabin in the most magnificent countryside in Franklin, TN,

This cabin is exactly as shown. It is very comfortable with full kitchen and washer and dryer. The bed is the most comfortable I have slept in providing restful sleep. Sitting on the large front deck listening and watching the rain was so relaxing. We loved it so much we extended our stay. We hated to leave but We will return soon.

What a great extended weekend stay we had at this cabin. First, it is absolutely spotless! It has so many cute and interesting decorations all throughout the cabin to check out and not one spec of dust. We felt comfortable and at home immediately. There are so many extra touches that make this cabin special like the to-go cups, every kitchen tool you might need, blankets on the rockers on the cute porch, fresh eggs, top quality towels, books, games, super comfy bed and the list goes on and on...We hiked along the ridge for hours and saw cool waterfalls and lots of wildlife. I even read some of the Irish Short Stories in one of the books! One of the days we went into the near-by towns of Leipers Fork for some shopping and then to Franklin for dinner. Both towns are very close by and are each so cool and different in their own way. The cabin is placed in the perfect place for enjoying nature but close to towns if you'd like some city life. My husband was so excited to meet the resident dogs who protect the chickens and I almost thought we were going to have to go looking for them. Lol! But, eventually Bowie came by and we visited with him several times after that throughout our stay. He can shake both paws and loves the treats the hosts leave for you to share with him. We truly loved his visits and he loved the ear scratches we gave him. He's such a good boy! We look forward to coming back and continuing our adventures at The Cabin@Natchez Hideaway!
