Great location, views and hot tub were delightful. However, the toilet leaked significantly. The response was to put a towel behind it as it had done that before. There was so much water we had to remove the rug from the bathroom and use all the towels available to clean it up. Had this not occurred, or had it been the first time, or had the issue been addressed fairly or timely I would have considered this a highly rated property.

We had a fabulous stay at the yurt! Super private and peaceful we felt like we had the mountain to ourselves. The yurt is very close to the South Rim Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP and driving distance to spectacular hiking in Ouray. The yurt has all the amenities you could want - a well equipped kitchen, AC, sound system, a hot tub, and a fire pit stocked with firewood.

Great stay at the yurt. Loved the deck; we spent early mornings and evenings on it. Really appreciated the AC and coming back to it after a hot summer day. Hoping for the best for everyone impacted by the recent fire.

Our expectations were completely exceeded. The yurt has a full kitchen and living space in addition to a great covered deck with an extraordinary view. The entrance to the park is just a few miles away and town was short drive as well. We loved this quiet, peaceful experience with all the conveniences. It was warm when we were there, but tempted to go back for a cozy weekend in the winter - wood burning stove inside, firepit outside, hot tub, another heater in the bedroom, and plenty of snuggly blankets, including an electric one.

A couple minor issues with the front door electronic keypad & the hot tub — but Melanie & Joe were quick to respond and resolved the issues. Also BIG thanks to Joe for recommending the Morrow Point/Mesa Creek hike, it was beautiful!

The property is exactly as described and shown in the pictures - everything you need and more is there for you. But the view to the San Juan Mountains is even better than we imagined! Very private and peaceful yet so close to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park south entrance. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking or biking. Owners very quick to respond to questions. Our stay was great and we look forward to a return trip.

Such a special place, stunning views. The wood burning fireplace kept us so warm when it started getting in the 30s. Hot tub, fire pit, mountains all around, few minutes from a national park, what more could you want for a getaway weekend? We will be back!

Beautiful property that is SO close to Black Canyon. Very comfortable bed as well. We built a fire in the woodstove and enjoyed the hot tub while watching for mule deer. I hope to return to this area and will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had a great stay at the yurt. The hot tub was so lovely and the view from the patio was gorgeous. The host was very communicative and easy to get ahold of and the property was very clean. A great spot to stay with plenty of things to do nearby!

1st class clamping. Very clean. Nice bathroom and shower. We spent the morning at Black Canyon and the afternoon on the back terrace. Used the fire pit both nights and grill on it as well. The view and stars in the back are amazing. My wife and I agreed, we will be back.

This was a perfect little getaway for us. We absolutely loved the views here and the close proximity to Black Canyon Nat'l Park. Though it has a rustic feel, it had all of the amenities and then some! Seriously great, we will probably visit again in the future.
