Stayed Jul 24, 2025Great host, quick response time and willing to work with you. Reason im giving 4 stars is the yard and down by the stream was unkept. We wanted to enjoy being outside more. Also, didnt realize until we got there the neighbors on each side of you are very close. No seclusion at all. The cabin was as described an old cabin with a camp like atmosphere. Cabin was clean and equipped with everything you need.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025This was our very first trip to Colorado and also using VRBO. We wanted a cabin experience and stumbled across this listing. It was the perfect choice! We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very rustic and super cute. The view was awesome, too. The beds were comfy and we felt at home right away. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been if the grass/weeds would have been mowed prior to our stay. We really wanted to enjoy the outside options more, but the high grass really impeded that. Otherwise, we had a very lovely stay!

Stayed Aug 19, 2024The cabin is perfectly curated and very cozy! We loved the DVDs and board games, and all the instructions were extremely helpful. We loved hearing the sound of the creek when we had the windows open, and having a wood indoor fireplace was one of our favorite parts of the trip. 10/10 would recommend!

The creek running behind the cabin was so relaxing and we enjoyed all of the wild life as well! If we return to Vallecito Lake, we will definitely stay here again! 3
