Sit on the deck looking out across the water to Russell (first Capital of NZ) and decide what you would like to do while in the Bay of Islands, visit Waitangi Treaty Grounds, take the bus to the very top of NZ Cape Reinga, take a boat trip with Explore NZ out to the Hole in the Rock and stop at Otehei Bay for a yummy lunch and swim. Stayed Mar 29, 2025We loved our stay - the cabin is beautifully decorated with everything you need - including great bedside lights. Away from the crazy bustle of the town. The view was absolutely stunning - both of the Bay of Islands and the bush. Even got visited by a Morepork one night :). Loved it here - would highly recommend.
