Mirror Lake Cabin ~ 1 Mi to Dtwn Highlands!

Cabin was cozy. Great location. There was no dining table except on the screened in porch, which was unusable in the winter weather. Dishwasher was broken. Lighting was dim.

The home was clean and tastefully decorated. It is a great location for walking to Main Street. We enjoyed our stay!!

Our stay was wonderfully relaxing. The cabin was cute, clean, and the outdoor space was lovely. The inside living space is dark/very low natural light (not like pictured) but with that being said we spent most of our time on the outdoor porch. Close to town, Highlands Smokehouse is practically right around the corner and close to hiking and nature areas. Thank you for a very nice stay!

It rained the majority of every day we were there. We didn't venture out much at all, other than a couple of nice walks. The area is great for walking. Mostly we spent time on the porch. As so many said, the porch is wonderful - so pleasant and the view across the street was so peaceful. We even saw a few deer playing in the creek there. As for the cabin - no complaints at all. The king bed was incredibly comfortable. It was one of the best we've experienced with VRBO stays. The shower was nice too and included a rain shower head. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. I also appreciated many of the artsy decor touches. Nothing was over the top, but well done and in keeping with the mountain vibe. There seems to be a lot of pretentious places springing up in the mountains, which is not at all what I hope for in a mountain stay. This place was a true cabin with nice touches. I would definitely recommend.

Nice little place

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay in this comfortable, beautifully decorated cabin style cottage tucked in the trees. Super private while in a lovely neighborhood. Everything we needed including a guide to waterfall and mountain hikes which were very convenient to our location. Such a central spot close to downtown and restaurants. We hope to come back soon and would absolutely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at this Mirror Lake cabin. The screened porch is definitely the best part with comfortable furniture and a lovely view. The cabin is well furnished with everything we needed. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood but also close to town.

Accommodations were great cozy and comfortable enjoyed the large screen in front porch and wood burning fire place yet finding the house itself was difficult due to the overgrown bushes next to driveway to see house numbers also finding & getting to the entrance door

After several weeks of grandchild care, we needed some quiet time. The Mirror Lake Cabin provided just what we wanted!

charming place a bit dark needs bright lighting in one spot for reading instructions for tv much needed unfortunately, all towels were sour smelling (I had to put them through a couple of rinse cycles before using)

Like everyone else, the porch is the highlight of this property, though the living room with wood burning fireplace would have been nice in colder weather. There are only three reasons I didn’t give 5s across the board. (1) there is no closet in one room, no dresser in the other. This works for two people on a short stay but would have been miserable for two couples. (2) it is dark in the kitchen. No lights over the stove so I had to use a flashlight to see how to cook. (3) on VRBO I was quoted one price. I expected tax and maybe cleaning charge in addition but by the time all of the fees were added, it came to almost 60% more. I’m not disappointed with the value at that price but felt “nickeled and dimed.”

My husband & I were in town for a festival with our 10 month old. This house was so unique! We loved the big front porch and the quiet neighborhood setting. Drive to town is easy & quick. For our family of 3, we would absolutely stay again.
