Marvelous Cottage short walk to Heart of Downtown Highlands, NC!

Great Place! House was perfect for a quick trip to the Highlands. Very close to town!

Loved this house and the proximity to downtown Highlands. The house is beautifully decorated and beds are very comfortable. My favorite part was the creek and outside seating areas. We would love to come back!

The house was exactly as shown in listing. The kitchen setup was great - plenty of glassware and dishes if we wanted to cook. We spent a good deal of time by the creek with a fire going in the fire pit - it was very relaxing. The house is so close to downtown Highlands that you can walk or drive to a number of shops and restaurants. We had a minor issue that we reported and the host resolved it immediately. We will definitely be back to stay in the house at a future date.

Adorable cottage and very well stocked! We enjoyed the hot tub, games, fireplace and creek! Easy walk to heart of downtown Highlands. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. Everything was as described. Brittany is a 5 star host. Very responsive and takes care of any issues you might encounter. We spent most of our time by the creek and the hot tub. Mornings and evenings we enjoyed the soothing sounds of the creek. We walked to the downtown area as well as hiked to numerous falls and sunset rock. The home is close to everything. Would highly recommend this cottage!

We had the most amazing girl’s trip. “Bubbly” was perfect. The home was well appointed, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. Brittany, the host, has thought of everything. 10 out of 10.

We had such a great time! The house was so clean, the space was beautiful. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. When we had trouble with the toilets, they had someone come out immediately to fix it. Super responsive hosts. The only suggestion I have would be making sure to have enough trash bags available and towels. Thank you so much!!

Everything was amazing! Location couldn’t be better.

Clean bedrooms, comfortable bed, shower doors need attention and could not use the front bathroom shower because of the door, so we slept in the back bedroom to be closer to that bathroom. Kitchen had everything that you possibly think of. The bubbly stream and the screen back porch was my highlight!

Great location - great communication, so clean and nice

Washcloths and hand towels missing in 2 bathrooms. No pillowcases for extra pillows. Full can of trash and old food left in kitchen. Grill was covered with mold. Makeup mirror fell out of wall. Walking to town was nice.

Exactly as described and is as nice as it looks in the pictures.. Clean, nicely decorated and a convenient location. Enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Bubbly Cottage while attending a family wedding. The location was ideal for all of the events we attended.Although it was very warm while we were there, the AC units in the bedrooms made sleeping very pleasant. We did not cook while we were there, but it was nice to see that there were items left by other guests that we could have used.Very enjoyable time in Highlands.

Great cottage. Easy walk to Main Street. Very private. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting by creek with morning coffee.

Enjoyed our stay - however there were minor issues that should have been addressed while we were there, most notably a non-working toilet. Received prompt response from property manager that someone would arrive to address the issues, but no one came. I did receive an apology and token compensation from the owner after the fact, which was appreciated.

We were in town for our son’s wedding and the house was a perfect location with all modern conveniences inside. All new appliances, well appointed kitchen and very nice baths. The outdoor sitting area next to the creek was lovely.

This cottage was perfect for my friend and me.. beautiful accommodations, close to everything- yet you wouldn’t know that when sitting out by the brook surround by tall trees watching fireflies! Pretty amazing!

Scrupulously clean and decorated to perfection! The babbling book , fire pit and sleeping porch could have kept me satisfied all week . In fact, we hiked less and relaxed more because the environment was so enticing. Nice touches like my favorite wine and waters upon arrival made it extra special. I’ve already shared the link with two friends who are as fastidious as I am. That says it all.

There's no need to look anywhere else! This is our second time staying at Bubbly and we plan to return every year for a weekend getaway! Gabby does a wonderful job making you feel welcome and comfortable at her cozy cottage. The location to main street is a short walk to everything Highlands has to offer. We loved the house and property! It's situated on a creek and has a great small patio with a fire pit. It's stylishly appointed and extremely clean! It's also about a block from downtown, so it has a perfect location. We wouldn't hesitate to rent it again!

House was just as the pictures looked. Clean and neat with thougtful details and well stocked household items to use if needed. Furnishings were comfortable and the outdoor space was great. Super close to town with plenty of parking. Definitely would stay again. again. again.

We enjoyed our stay even with the unexpected snow, wind and power outage. The cottage is great. We will stay again if in the Highlands area.

Bubbly was the cutest cottage. The space is well thought out and decorated well! The outdoor area is equally as well done! It is so close to town but you feel as if you are isolated. It’s the perfect spot! I wish we could’ve stayed longer but definitely hope to visit again!

We stayed here for two nights and this cottage was truly terrific! It was so clean and was decorated beautifully with such attention to detail and so well thought out! The host was wonderful. The location was absolutely perfect, so close to downtown Highlands! I would % come stay here again and would highly recommend!!

The property is just as pictured with sufficient space to accommodate two couples comfortably. The location is very convenient to downtown Highlands as well as local attractions and hiking trails. The beds were very comfortable and the split plan of the house allowed for privacy. The abundant supply of firewood was a great bonus. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen was adequately supplied, however it could use a reorganization and addition of pans and utensils. Communication was a negative. We asked if possible for early check-in or at least option to drop off food in the refrigerator and never heard a response until way after check-in time. We communicated when we checked-out and again never got a response. This did not spoil our vacation. We would recommend this home for two couples traveling together.

Loved the property and accommodations… creek outside was beautiful with nice set up for making a fire and seating next to the stream … very cozy inside with wood burning fireplace and plenty of fire wood. Very well appointed. Host was attentive to any request! Would highly recommend!

We came for our son’s 12 year old birthday. This home was lovely! Peaceful, fantastic beds and so convenient. We enjoyed sitting by the campfire, listening to the creek!

Great location and great house for our first time to Highlands. The house was perfect. Best part of our stay might be the bear that visited us twice while sitting around the fire pit in the late afternoons. Very cool!

Beautiful home with all the conveniences. Loved the fire pit with the creek and waterfall in the backyard. The porch was awesome. Short 5 - 10 minute walk to downtown Highlands for shopping and restaurants. Property Manager was awesome. Everything was perfect for our trip. We hope to return again and again!

This cottage was clean, beautifully appointed, and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. As a bonus, it is located within walking distance of downtown Highlands. No complaints here!

We arrived on A Monday. We had 3 good days in the Highlands. Then Hurricane Helene hit. We had no power, cell service or internet. Our cottage was fine. Our hosts checked on us to make sure we were ok. Unfortunately we had to leave early because of the hurricane, but would definitely come back to Bubbly Cottage. The cottage was just a wonderful and comfortable place to stay. So close to town , but with the feeling of being in the woods. So sad we had to leave, but glad we had a few good days.

We stayed at The Bubbly during a wedding weekend. It was perfect for two couples to share with two private bedrooms with en suite and a lovely shared common space and well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, it was a drizzly awakens so we did not get to enjoy the fire pit area that is nestled next to a babbling brook however we did take advantage of the swinging beds on the screened back porch! We enjoyed a nice fire while watching football. Everything was perfection!

We were in Highlands for our daughter’s wedding. From top to bottom inside and out the cottage was perfect. The space was larger than I expected and the beautiful back porch deck and garden by the stream was a perfect way to start our day. I was able to walk to town and our family really felt welcomed in your home. . We can’t wait to return and we so appreciated your hospitality.

From start to finish, this was a great experience. The host is a great commincator and you do not have to worry about being left hanging. A seamless check in process. The house is adorable, comfortable, clean, quiet and very nicely decorated. There are screened windows and fans in every room. There are window A/C units in both bedrooms and we did crank them up briefly at midday as it does sometimes get warmish even in Highlands. The kitchen is well equipped including a bottle of wine in the fridge waiting for you. I barely moved from the swings on the porch! As they say, location, location and this is the best one we've stayed at in many Highland vacations. We parked the car almost 100% and walked everywhere. The Adirondack chairs next to the bubbling brook will truly lead to a zen experience. We have already booked next summer and fall so better hurry!
