Stayed Jan 31, 2026This was our second time coming and we will return again. The cabin is easy to find, you can walk around town and not have to look for parking because the cabin is so close to everything. It’s very clean and the owner is super communicative.

Stayed Oct 4, 2025Often times mountain cabin rentals can be rustic, and a bit rundown. However, this particular rental seems to be completely remodeled, everything is freshly painted, the bathrooms are modernized and beautiful, and the grounds were also exquisite. We didn’t think being able to walk to town would be such a bonus but it turned out to be so this is one of the best things about this rental. Also my husband had a great time shooting baskets.

There was Jazz memorabilia all over the house, sofa couches were easy to use, and nature is unbeatable. The hosts have a hidden gem on their hands, thank you so much for lending us your cottage!

Stayed Apr 4, 2025We were in Idyllwild for a wedding and were fortunate enough to find Jim and Jo's place within walking distance of the venue and the best part of town. Arrival instructions were clear and easy and they had the heat on for us upon arrival. We settled in easily and the place was immaculate. We walked around the town and had some great coffee, Italian, and ice cream while we were there and we were able to take our two boys on a small hike near the Nature Center. Jo and Jim's place has the best character with all their Jazz Festival Photos. I felt like I was staying with a beloved family member. There was even a bookshelf with a variety of children's books.Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!
