The tree house cabin was cozy and welcoming. It was clean and comfortable with mid century modern/ rustic furnishings. The architecture of the house was beautiful; it’s organic and built around the surrounding forested area to maximize lighting and the view. We really enjoyed our stay hiking, cooking and lounging. Host Erica was quick to respond when the code to the house did not work. Thank you for sharing your lovely home Erica.

Awesome property! Loved everything about The Cedar Treehouse. Incredible layout, furnishings, location, and views. Erica was so accommodating and promptly responded to all our questions. We have over the years rented over 15 properties in Idyllwild and Cedar Treehouse is our favorite. Highly recommend!

Our grandson got married over the weekend in Idyllwild and we had an amazing time. This house was very comfortable and what a beautiful location. What a gorgeous home with a new kitchen and bathrooms. The tub and bidet toilet alone are worth the stay! The beds are very comfy.

The cozy treehouse is a great place for a family getaway. The location is just a few blocks away from town and within easy walking distance of a few restaurants. Views from the house are wonderful, you are surrounded by trees and have mountain views from the porch. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The interior was tastefully designed while being comfortable at the same time, and we thoroughly enjoyed the record player/sound system and the collection of vinyls. Check-in and check-out was very smooth, and Erica was responsive and made communication quite easy. One thing to consider if traveling with folks with mobility limitations is the third room is separate from the main house, which is accessible by taking an outside flight of stairs down from the main house. It has its own bathroom as well, and is perfect for guests that are ok with going up and down the stairs safely. There is a car port that provides access to the main floor through the kitchen, and a guest room also on the main floor with one step up. The house worked perfectly for our family, our 87 yr old father was fine with the guest room on the main floor, while our older daughters used the separate guest room.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the treehouse and would definitely visit again.

I enjoyed staying at this treehouse with my friends as we stayed here as our base camp of hiking sections of the PCT nearby. The setup was great providing sufficient privacy. The amenities were top notch including bath robes. The downstairs bedroom is separate without direct access to the main house as you have to walk upstairs and enter the main house through a side door. Loved the integration of nature inside and outside of the house with lots of sitting areas for great views of the mountains and the rising moon. There is a dip in the driveway which sometimes is challenging to get in and out from.

We had a wonderful stay at the tree house. Very nicely decorated with attention to details. Very clean, great location and outdoor place. Reading a book on the big patio looking at the mountains and listening to the birds was my favorite. One of the best places I have ever stayed.

Our stay at Cedar Treehouse was exceptional to say the least. Everything was sparkling clean, from the floors to the countertops. The beds were incredibly comfortable with white luxury bedding. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cookware making meal preparation a snap. The house has a zen design and feel with warm and inviting furniture and beautiful artwork resulting in a peaceful and relaxing stay. My husband and I highly recommend it for both short and longer visits. Thank you to Erica our host, for a wonderful experience! We will 100% be back to spend at least a week next time.

The Cedar Treehouse was absolutely one of the best places we’ve ever rented on VRBO. The pictures and description aren’t as good as being there, nestled between the trees with amazing view of Lily rock, a great location and a quiet, wooded setting to relax and enjoy nature. We WFH and the studio made a perfect office for one while the office space in the rear entry was a nice place to work among the trees. Close enough to town to walk, but far enough to feel like a true escape, the Treehouse was ideally located between the Nature Center (where we took our dog for daily walks) and Humber Park (where we hiked Devils slide) and close to Cafe Aroma, one of the best restaurants in town. The place itself is architecturally beautiful and the desofn transports you to the mountains instantly. We would definitely stay here again!
