Luxury Cabin On The Chattahoochee River - Short Walk To Downtown Helen

The property was nice and clean, but my brother in law had to fix the shower head and we had to defrost the ice machine. The spiral staircase is interesting, definitely hard to navigate with luggage. It was a convenient location, just the hiccups listed above.

Location & comfort of this cabin is great. This home did not appear to have been cleaned very well. Dead bugs in floor of loft bedroom, Harry Potter room looked as though someone had slept in it and it had not been cleaned so we would not allow our Grandson in there. Floors needed to be swept and vacuumed. Messaged owner by text and VRBO due to light going out in bathroom with no response.

Location was perfect! Second shower did not work….we all had to use the same bath. Helen was a great place to visit….it’s a very unique and lovely town.

Check -in was a breeze. The outdoors of the house was great. Location, couldn’t have been better. Indoors was fine, but could use some updating… especially with mattresses. We had a good stay overall.

Family loved the home. Perfect location for us to enjoy the river. Home was clean. The Harry Potter room has portable a/c which was full of water and was not working. We had to move mattress into the upstairs bedroom for kids to sleep on. Other than that have no problems returning.

The property was great, excellent location. Close and convenient to town whether walking or driving. Enjoyed our time outside, tubing down the river and stopping at home on the way down or just watching others flow by, played corn hole, had a fire and s'mores, cooked and dined outside, relaxed on the swing and read, watched TV outside, etc. We only had a couple of items that could be improved on. There was only one hair dryer that was on the wall in one of the bathrooms, none in the bathroom off the master bedroom. The mattress in the other main floor bedroom needs replacing, it is very noisy when you move on the bed and it is not very comfortable. Other than that, the place was great.

Well only one shower,no coffee pot,no picture of the stairs leading to the the loft,no battries in the tv remote

Great place right on the water! The house was very clean with good accommodations. Sitting by the river was our favorite thing to do.

We had an incredible stay at the Chattahoochee Charmer. Billy and Tina were gracious and attentive hosts. The cabin is perfect-cozy and spectacular! The location is incredible. We walked into town and to dinner. The outdoor experience is also amazing here.

We have stayed at the “Chattahoochee Charmer” for several times on our yearly trip to Helen. The river view from this home is beautiful and you can walk downtown. It snowed on our last day and was beautiful with the Christmas decorations downtown. The owners are very attentive and respond to any issues promptly. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The cabin's location is excellent right on the river. We really enjoyed our family vacation and the fire pit at night was great. There were a few issues regarding the cleaning company that was discovered on check-in. However, Billy made sure to rectify the situation including a personal visit to the cabin. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Love the outside space and location especially learning of the quick wood path to downtown. However, I would not consider this a luxury cabin without the higher end details such as updated bathrooms. Plus, the counter tops and toilets are very low. The host was easy to contact and thank goodness since our water was cut off with a lock on the meter. We were refunded one night of our stay, and it was corrected the next morning. We love to throw darts, but the dart board isn't really usable. Otherwise, the outdoor space is where we spent our time and it did not disappoint!!!!

This was a beautiful place. Outside the yard, river access and all of the amenities you could ask for are amazing. Inside was very nice as well. Wonderful place to stay.

Rented this property for labor day weekend with my husband and our friends. It is a perfect location right on the river and a short walk to downtown. We spent a majority of the time just sitting on the river enjoying the view. Perfectly slept all 8 of us, though i will say the 3rd bedroom isnt really a room but it wasnt a problem for us. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Perfect for families. Lots of amenities for everyone of every age to do. Great location on the river and walking distance into town. We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The host thought of everything that we didn't even know we needed to make our stay great. Definitely would stay here again.

We had a great time staying at the Chattahoochee Charmer. Beautiful home right on the river. Sitting outside relaxing in the evenings was the best listening to the river roll by.

We have stayed at this property ever year for 3 years now, sometimes multiple times a year and it’s always the same great experience!

The location and views were great. It was peaceful sitting on the deck looking at the river. It was very clean and the host responded immediately when contacted. The only downside is the spiral staircase that goes to the loft. It is very steep and luggage was difficult to get upstairs. The upstairs would not be suitable for very small children.
