Luxury 4BR Mountain Home Near Downtown Highlands, Surrounded by Nantahala Forest

I celebrated my birthday with girlfriends. We loved our time in the house. The house was complete with supplies and tastefully decorated. We wanted to use the fire pit, but rain prevented this. Would tent here again!

Loved the location and was ideal for exploring the area and going into highlands daily. The design and decor are stunning! We were a group of five women up for a relaxing girls weekend and it was perfect for us. Everyone slept great. It is a new build and I think they may still be working through the final punch list because there was some trim work / paint touch ups that seemed to still be in progress. I’m sure when everything is completed it will be perfect. We will be back!

We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch surrounded by nature, and our evenings relaxing by the firepit under the stars. It was the perfect balance of luxury and coziness.The location is ideal — close enough to enjoy all the charm of downtown Highlands, yet tucked away in a quiet, private setting. Whether you're hiking nearby trails, exploring waterfalls, or just unwinding at the house, this place makes it all feel magical. The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, making the whole experience seamless from start to finish.We can't wait to return — truly a hidden gem in the mountains. Highly, highly recommended!
