LURAY Couples Mountain Log Cabin #10 Fireplace Hot Tub Near Shenandoah Park

It was absolutely amazing cabin but that’s it. That’s all you get. The cabin and the hot tub. Nothing more. You have to bring anything and I mean anything else you need. There’s a coffee maker but no complimentary coffee at all. There’s not even salt and pepper so if you want to cook bring everything you need. She supplies one flimsy roll of TP which was gone by the start of day 2. Someone has mentioned a list of restaurants and maybe some things to do near by would have been nice. When you leave you have to strip the sheets and sweep And run the dishwasher before you leave. Makes me wonder what the cleaning crew actually does. And the Wi-Fi is terrible. I needed it to communicate with my family and it was terrible. The tv has very little so bring blu-ray movies if you enjoy watching tv at night. All in all I think it’s a beautiful cabin and if she was to add some small things to the cabin for your comfort it would be much better. For what we paid I would have thought there’d be more added touches to make it more “homey” like the photos.

The property had everything we needed! It was clean, quaint and cozy! The only thing I would recommend is to put some better cushions on the chairs outside! We spent our evenings on the deck, so, comfier cushions would have been nice. Other than that, the cabin was perfect for us!

The cabin was adorable and hosts were very friendly. However I would recommend this place only if a couple would truly like to retreat from the world during the month of December. I thought there would be some trails for hiking but it unexpectedly snowed a decent amount and the nearest town for shopping or doing activities seemed to be about an hour plus away. I was disappointed with the weather and activity options in Stanley but lesson learned for vacationing during December!Cabin 7 was very good to us though!

The cabin had a beautiful view. When we arrived the cabin was clean and we were very happy with the layout. The hot tub and firepit were wonderful additions to enjoy in the cool evenings. Perfect place to get away from life and enjoy a romantic weekend.

Cabin was great for our anniversary

Cute cabin, beautiful views and quiet surroundings. Hot tub was a bonus.

We were looking for a place to go for our mini-moon. We came across this listing and immediately booked it. The place was super clean. The grounds are definitely meant to be a quiet getaway and that's exactly what we were looking for

A great experience all-around for a quiet anniversary weekend. Cabin was really nice, with great view of the mountains. Even though our weather was not great, it was still fun to sit on the porch and watch the clouds move over the mountains. The location is great too; we enjoyed dinner in Luray, which is just maybe ten minutes away. It's also close to the Skyline Drive entrance and lots of hiking opportunities. The cabin was clean and well outfitted, just as advertised.

Amazing stay. Great lodging with great views. The hot tub and fire pit were great additions. And the double showers (with high pressure) were another great surprise. The vibe was just amazing. Minutes away from great hiking, fishing, restaurants. Only critique (no fault of the owners) is no Ubers/Lift. We wanted to responsibly enjoy the local winery (only 2 miles away). But it worked out.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. First I want to say when we got there the GPS would have taken us directly there but there was an accident and no detour signs. I called Randy and he stayed on the phone with me until we got to the cabin giving me step by step directions. Wonderful host. The cabin was beautiful, very clean and fully stocked. The water pressure was amazing. Usually you don't have water pressure or hot water and both were awesome. Our stay was one of the best ever. A WONDERFUL romantic getaway for any couple looking to enjoy a peaceful time with their loved one. We look forward to coming back again.

The stay was great. The location was nice and out of the way. The only issues we had were that the hot water didn't last very long. Maybe 7-8 minutes. Also, the wireless was useless. I was able to connect to it, but couldn't get to anything on the Internet. Except for those 2 items, the rest of the weekend was wonderful.

The cabin was as listed. Very clean and well organized secluded and setup with privacy in mind. The walkway lights by the hot tub were not working but that aside this place was spectacular.

We had a memorable and fun weekend here at cabin #10. Randy was helpful and accommodating. Would definitely go again. Great for couples.

Stayed over the weekend while I ran in the Shenandoah Half Marathon. The cabin was cozy and inviting with excellent view of the mountains. Also just minutes away from a winery.

This cabin was perfect for me and my husband, we had a nice little getaway.
