Small off grid timber frame cabin next to a creek in the timber. This cabin has a gas fireplace, queen bed with no bedding provided, outdoor camp-chef two burner cooktop, Alaskan style wood chip bucket toilet, and battery powered indoor lighting. Self reliant guests at his cabin appreciate a simple rustic stay in the forrest with access to public land. No running water (except for the creek!), no electricity (battery powered indoor lighting). Extra cots are available for the kids!

Stayed Aug 8, 2025I was pretty skeptical of staying off grid but my boyfriend loves it. But this cabin was great! And the outhouse was more like a regular toilet than a pit one. I was very comfortable. We will be going back there and taking our 3 grandkids next time.My favorite part was the beautiful clear clean creek out back! Very soothing at night.
