Lovely Log Cabin - Grand Canyon - Along Route 66 - Amazing stars at night!

We would happily stay here again. The house was as advertised, and we loved staying here. The hosts are friendly and easy to contact. Excellent stargazing at night and some wildlife that we're definitely not used to seeing in the southeastern US, where we're from. Close to town and an easy drive to the Grand Canyon.

We loved sitting out on the porch in the sunshine. Clean space and very communicative host!

Beautiful secluded home. We had plumbing problems regardimg having running water. Unfortunately it was not a fast or easy fix. The plumbers went out of their way to do all they could. Ultimately the owner understood and compensated us for the inconvenience. I would give this home a second chance. Location and privacy were great.

The property and cabin were amazing- near things to do but also definitely off the beaten path. The area was very quiet and the stargazing was impressive. The cabin itself was very clean and had some extra amenities that were nice, like coffee filters, lots of cookware, and leftover condiments in the fridge. The only thing we were disappointed by was that the description listed a fireplace and wood burning stove and neither were there. Not sure why?

As really first time visitors to Williams, I can't say enough about what a great time we had at the cabin and exploring the area! It was a chilly, off-and-on rainy/stormy weekend but the perfect escape at the end of a Phoenix summer. The cabin is comfy and cozy and has everything you might need. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and things for cooking, though we mostly did takeout. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but it's a quick drive into town to restaurants and shopping. There were plenty of towels and basics in the bathroom and blankets everywhere for those chilly days. There's plenty to do in the area, but the cabin is a great place if you just want to relax and hang out, too. We travel with our two dogs, so most of our time is outdoors exploring, but they loved watching everything in the forest from the huge deck. Mattie even quietly alerted us when 6 elk walked thru just beyond the driveway. The stars at night were amazing. Sycamore Point was more than worth the drive, and the Kaibab National Forest is just down the road. We had a minor miscommunication with the code at check in, but April was quick to respond to resolve the problem. We fell in love with the area and can't wait to go back for another stay at the cabin! Thanks for a great birthday weekend!

Rental was clean, as described, and we were able to check in early! Pet friendly! Host was responsive to our questions! Easy check in and check out!

April was very accommodating and responsive. Everything was as described. This is a beautiful cabin for a nice relaxing get away. The location is close to Williams for convenience but feels nice and isolated in the woods.

The cabin is fabulous! We couldn't have asked for more. We loved the deck and the air conditioning since we were there during one of the hottest weeks. We just relaxed and had a wonderful time. Contact with the owner was easy and friendly. We would love to stay here again.

The property and the host make this a 10 star review. To have the ability to sit on the deck in the pines listening to the wind in the trees but be only 15 minutes from Williams makes it ideal. The cabin was immaculate and had everything one could need or think of. One of our top VRBO experiences.

The best place to enjoy the Grand Canyon. It was beautiful and complete. Proximity to the park was great for us.

If you want a lovely private cabin to clear your head and recharge look no further. I loved staying here. The deck was amazing and the stars at night are wonderous. If I needed to make one suggestion I would get a new bed for the downstairs that is bigger. Otherwise would stay again!

We spent 3 nights here for our 20th anniversary and absolutely loved it! The peaceful acreage with room to roam surrounded by the amazing pines. Loved hearing the wind in the trees. Great location for visiting Williams, bearizona and the grand canyon only about an hour away. Brought our fur babies and they loved the adventures. Host was responsive to us!

This cabin is so sweet and cozy for a family get away. Perfectly nestled just off a main road hidden in the pines you woukdnt even know you have people or a paved road near by. The view is incredible and the privacy and silence is a perfect escape for the busy world. The breeze through the trees and the passing by birds are all you hear. Coffee on the deck in the early morning is pure serenity!! Our family of 6 fit perfectly here for a 2 night stay. They have every thing you need and more!! The host was quick to respond and gave great details to find her cabin and answers to any questions we had. Truly a family favorite and a repeat in the future!! We highly recommend visiting this Lovely Cabin!!

This was the perfect location in between Grand Canyon, adorable town of Williams and a couple hours to Sedona. It was the perfect base camp. Cabin is very cute, clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Chose this cabin as it is 45 minutes to Grand Canyon. Nice comfortable home. We were concerned about potential water issues but we were careful. My only recommendation would be to put the king bed on the first floor.

We had a great stay at the Lovely Log cabin! It was the perfect gateway to our Grand Canyon and Sedona trips. Beds, kitchen, living space, bathroom - everything was very clean, well organized and as described in the property page. April was also easy to coordinate with and accommodating of our requests! Particularly enjoyed the spring sun out on the deck in the mornings and having the expansive lot around us gave us a sense of quiet and solitude!

Traveling with two under the age of 2 is never easy, but both host and cabin made our stay the best home away from home we could hope for! From the responsiveness of our host to the well stocked kitchen, bath, and laundry, the cabin exceeded our expectations. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was clean, alleviating concerns over our little one’s crawling on the floors. The views from the deck were stunning and you can walk below a canopy of trees and explore the landscape. The cabin was 10 minutes from all the amenities of Williams and 45 minutes from the Grand Canyon. We look forward to spending more time here as our kids grow. This would be the perfect place to spend a holiday or special celebration.

Beautiful cabin in a very peaceful neighborhood. Location was comvenient to Williamsburg and about an hour to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We spent mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying nature. Very well stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture. Highly recommend and if we make it back we would stay again.

There were so many thoughtful touches - from condiments in the refrigerator and spices in the cupboard, to extra towels and a first aid kit in the bathroom - everything about this cabin made it feel like home. We enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. It had recently snowed so we were able to enjoy the snow as well as the warmer weather. The property was the perfect setup away from the city and could see so many stars. We loved that it was 45 mins from the Grand Canyon or Flagstaff. It is also close to other fun activities in the area.

We spent Valentine’s weekend at this cabin with my husband, son, and his best friend, and it was the perfect home base for exploring Williams and the Grand Canyon. Everything was exactly as described, and the experience exceeded our expectations.The cabin was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials, including common spices and seasonings, making meal prep a breeze. Beds and seating were incredibly comfortable, and the linens were top-notch. We also appreciated the thick, plush towels and the added convenience of a washer, dryer, and provided laundry essentials.The setting was unbeatable—secluded and private, yet just a short drive to town and the national park. The deck overlooking the trees and mountains was a highlight, offering breathtaking views, especially under a sky full of stars. The outdoor grill (with propane provided) was another great touch.Our host was fantastic, with excellent communication throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area, whether for a quick weekend trip or an extended stay. We can’t wait to return!

My wife and I traveled from South Carolina to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. This property was amazing! The host was easy to communicate with, the property had great amenities, was clean and very romantic. The property was very isolated yet close to the small town of Williams. I would definitely recommend!!!

We 100% recommend this property to any smaller families that are looking to enjoy some time around Flagstaff/ Williams. We did not get snow this year, but we traveled around the area and found that many places were easily accessible from the cabin. The cabin is surrounded by trees and is very private. Is was exceptionally clean and the cabin was well prepared with all essential equipment we needed in the kitchen and beyond. Upon arrival there was a little issue with the waterline but the host, April, was very communicative and responsive at all times. The problem was promptly fixed, as promised, and it did not interfere with our stay at all! Only challenge was sharing a bathroom with 5 people but I would definitely stay there again!

I honestly hate to leave a negative review but the lack of details in the listing RUINED our Christmas and is a huge health hazard. We’re a family of 6, 2 adults 2 teens 1 pre-teen a toddler and our dog. Firstly there is LIMITED water and works off of tanks (which isn’t unusual for the area) but needs to be disclosed so you can adjust your water usage as if you were dry camping in an RV. Also the listing states there’s a fireplace and furnace, there is no fireplace but there is a furnace with NO instructions for use. We reached out to the owner for instructions and got no response. We’ve used plenty of wood burning furnaces and fireplaces throughout our travels so thought we’d get it lit (mostly for ambience). We then noticed even when fully lit and properly vented the smell of smoke was still permeating the air. We promptly turned it off as I also noted there are NO carbon monoxide sensors. We slept with windows open and were up all night checking on our kids as carbon monoxide is a silent killer. The NEXT DAY I get a message stating DO NOT USE the furnace! Christmas Day I get a message as we’re out tubing at 2 PM that the cabin is out of running water and the truck will not be able to come out until the day we’re checking out! I sent a text to the owner that this was unacceptable and that we’d be leaving that same day as there is no way we’re paying to stay somewhere with NO RUNNING WATER with young kids and a do, and of course no response back.

The property was so awesome. Clean, quiet we didn't want to leave. Thank you!

This property had everything we needed and wanted. We loved it and WILL be staying there again. Zero complaints, the hosts are amazing and this place will not disappoint.

This is exactly what we were looking for when we booked this cabin. Great location and a beautiful view We even saw the northern lights our first night Absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful.

We LOVED this cabin for our stay in Williams! I can't say enough about how much we loved everything about this cabin. It was the perfect setting. We sat on the deck and listened to elk bugle and saw a couple walk across the nearby hilltop. It was peaceful and quiet and comfortable. My father was in love! If we ever make it back out west, this will be where we want to stay!

It was our own “Lovely Cabin”in the woods where we could relax after our activities all day! We saw elk, deer & jack rabbits on the property during the time we’re there ~ which just added to our memories!
