Perfect place for a secluded getaway with friends!

Loon Lodge was perfect for our fall getaway from Louisiana. The sunrise and sunset’s were absolutely spectacular. Our host was very responsive throughout our visit.

The house was clean and cozy and we enjoyed our stay!

The location is amazing as you can see from the pictures. Morning coffee and afternoon reading on the back deck over looking the pond is something we will miss. TV is limited to a dozen channels but they do have 3 streaming channels if you have a log in. They do provide wifi which is very helpful They also provide a canoe and paddle boat and life jackets. We did not use them because the pondvwas low do to a recent droughtLyndonville is 8 miles away. Whites grocery on Rt 5 is amazing considering the location and there are several decent restaurants. You will do considerable driving on dirt roads. This is a remote area less than 20 miles from Canada

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin is just what we expected it to be and was very comfortable. The owners made sure that everything was ready for us to enjoy. I knew it would be spectacular when we heard groups of lions calling across the lake to each other. If you like to fish, I had good luck and caught a couple of beautiful rainbow trout which were released to fight another day. Overall, I rate this property highly and would/will recommend it to others. We’re already looking at next year, same time frame, as we enjoy coming to the “Northeast Kingdom” area.

Cozy, Comfortable and Captivating. The lake is large, the trees that dotted the coast line gave a serene and surreal feeling. Check-in was a breeze. There are instructions conveniently posted regarding check out.Lisa was a fantastic host. The power went down and once I contacted her she was able to give me an update as to the status. Power was back up in no time My son and I are looking forward to our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The weather was beautiful. It was very comfortable and clean. The view of the lake was very relaxing. We look forward to returning to the Vermont area.

This property is just like pictured. Incredible view and right on the lake. I didn't use the canoe or paddleboat but both were available and would be fun to put out on the lake. I saw 2 moose and 1 bear up at the nearby Silvio Conte NWR which was a big thrill. Really happy with this place.

This cabin is located within a few footsteps from a lovely lake with loons and other wildlife. The cabin features a massive fireplace which sets the ambiance on chilly mornings, evenings, or days. It is spotlessly clean with all the amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook. If you want a true getaway that gets you in touch with nature this is the place for you. And if you like to be connected the wifi is excellent. There is a 20 minute walk to a nature trail down to the lake that takes about 50 minutes. Some of it is an easy walk on the road and some is more hilly and rugged on the nature trail. It's a good workout. The entire area near the cabin features all the trails and challenges you could desire. The only suggestion I could make for improvement would be the with the great fireplace it would really be nice if the owner would provide firewood - especially if people are staying in in the cooler months when a cosy fire is really appreciated.

Lisa Ann is a wonderful host who was very responsive to us. The house is beautifully furnished and well supplied. The location is stunning with a deck a few feet from the water, which provided gorgeous views, and we loved watching the loons swim by! This was our second stay at Loon Lodge but it won't be our last! I can't recommend Loon Lodge more highly for your next getaway!
