Stayed Sep 26, 2025One issue was that the shower handle was broken which made it a little tricky to take a shower. When we arrived the owner called to tell us she was unable to get a plumber out to fix it.Be aware that the lights in one bedroom upstairs and the light above the table operate with a remote which is odd to me. We enjoyed the porch and deck.

Stayed Aug 14, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (family of 4). Can get warm upstairs on hot days, but the window a/cs were more than adequate. Kitchen had everything we needed. No laundry on-site, but there is a laundromat in Lyndonville (about 10 mi back down the road). The only shower is upstairs, so water pressure is a bit low, and the tap is partly-broken, so it can be tricky to dial in the temp. Great stargazing on clear nights.Also, despite feeling pretty remote, there are small towns all around and the interstate is close by. Despite it being a beautiful week (weatherwise) in the middle og August, the area was very quiet -- no crowds, and gorgeous scenery.
