Estes Park Registration # 3251 Please read our cancellation policy before booking. Purchase insurance for any unforeseen issues. NO PETS. Convenience is what you get with Mabel's Cabin at L.R. Taylor's Estes Park Cabins. Mabel's is located on a hill just above the downtown of Estes Park with private steps leading to the center of town. But get away from it all on your private, covered deck and enjoy the view of Longs Peak and the mountain range. So park your car and walk to restaurants andshopping. Mabel's is also just minutes away from the famous Rocky Mountain National Park. 2.5 miles to Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. 4 miles to Fall Creek Entrance. (so enjoy all that it has to offer)

Originally built in the early 1900's by Mabel Van Hook, one of the four children of L.R. Taylor, to be her summer home and vacation spot. The cabin has been renovated to include all the modern conveniences, but still retains some of it's original charm.

Mabel's has a beautiful space outdoors to roam with trees, rock out-croppings, deer, elk and chipmunks. The elk have their own path right beside the cabin and enjoy resting under the trees. Please look at photos. Parking is tight. NO RV's, trailers or extra long vehicles. There is a steep hill leading down to the parking. In the winter, we do have snow removal. However, if you get stuck removal will be at your own expense.

Estes Park is the perfect vacation spot and there is something to do for everyone. You can rent this cabin year-round and enjoy the seasons of Colorado.
If this does not satisfy you we have 3 other cabins at LR Taylor Cabins listed on VRBO.

Cabin location was great - very short walk to shops and dinner. House itself was a nice, rustic cabin. We enjoyed reading about the history of the cabins.

Super cozy cabin in the hills of Estes Park. Walkable to downtown shopping and food. Spent most of the time in RMNP hiking then relaxing on the deck overlooking the mountains. Very clean

Great location, hot tub was extremely clean, great fireplace with wood provided, plenty of towels and toiletries, there is a vent near the kitchen table that the chair legs can go right through. My daughter's chair fell through it twice. Could have been a very bad injury. Only one comfortable sofa in living room, so hard for a family of 3 to comfortably relax after a long day in the mountains. Don't get me wrong, we were very pleased. It just needs a few upgrades and get a new cover for that vent. Obviously many have fallen through it as the grates are stretched from chair legs falling through.

Stayed here for my 10th time visiting Estes Park. The cabin felt wonderfully rustic while still providing modern amenities. Great location feeling remote but able to walk to downtown without finding parking.
