Estes Park Registration # 3251 Please read our cancellation policy before booking. NO PETS. Convenience is what you get with Mabel's Cabin at L.R. Taylor's Estes Park Cabins. Mabel's is located on a hill just above the downtown of Estes Park with private steps leading to the center of town. But get away from it all on your private, covered deck and enjoy the view of Longs Peak and the mountain range. So park your car and walk to restaurants and shopping. Mabel's is also just minutes away from the famous Rocky Mountain National Park. 2.5 miles to Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. 4 miles to Fall Creek Entrance. (so enjoy all that it has to offer)
Originally built in the early 1900's by Mabel Van Hook, one of the four children of L.R. Taylor, to be her summer home and vacation spot. The cabin has been renovated to include all the modern conveniences, but still retains some of it's original charm.
Mabel's has a beautiful space outdoors to roam with trees, rock out-croppings, deer, elk and chipmunks. The elk have their own path right beside the cabin and enjoy resting under the trees. Please look at photos. Parking is tight. NO RV's, trailers or extra long vehicles. There is a steep hill leading down to the parking. In the winter, we do have snow removal. However, if you get stuck removal will be at your own expense.
Estes Park is the perfect vacation spot and there is something to do for everyone. You can rent this cabin year-round and enjoy the seasons of Colorado.

This cabin was perfect my my dad, brother and myself. Great location!
Overall the cabin was comfy and clean. It does badly need new bed pillows, those were so flat they did no good. We bought firewood, but it would have been nice to have a hatchet to make kindling. At least I did not see one. We did enjoy our stay and would recommend it.
This property provided us with an ideal base for day hiking in RMNP. The location, a very short walk to E Elkhorn Ave, provided easy walking to restaurants and shopping and allowed us to keep the car parked after a long day on the trail.
This cabin was clean and in the perfect location just walking distance from the main downtown area. We were in town for a wedding and this was perfect for what we needed.
We enjoyed our stay in Mable’s Cabin. It was a quaint and comfortable cabin. We found it to be just as described. We came to Estes Park for a family wedding and to enjoy the area. Mable’s Cabin is in a great location…just a short distance from everything.
Very cosy little spot, with great views and close to town. Basic, but Nikki provided everything you would need. Great washing machines and grateful for the washing detergent! :) Hot tub also awesome.
Very easy to get to and loved the elk that walked by every day. Will stay again
We loved it. Right above downtown with views of Longs Peak. Very comfortable. Loved the hot tub and fireplace.
We preferred closer to town. It’s really conv to both park entrances.
Cabins are close to town but a lot of steps to climb .nice patio to sit on in the evening and mornings
We had a great stay! The cabin is in the perfect location and was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The only negative was the beds. We tried both beds and the frames are old and very noisy. My partner and I woke each other up every time we turned over. Can’t emphasize the fantastic location enough though! Quiet and tucked away but could still walk to stores and restaurants.
Close to everything and great price. Cozy and comfy!
