Great experience. Tiny cabin great for our stay. Perfect for a couple or single person. Will come again!
Keep in mind that the cabin is small. We were aware of this when we booked, so this wasn't an issue. The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt secluded even though there were other cabins around. We saw two elk the first day we were there! The cabin has a kitchen with just about anything you would need. Friendly suggestion to the property owner - Get rid of the futon and get a regular sleeper sofa. The futon just isn't practical for sitting on and relaxing after a day of hiking.
Well appointed cabin ! Wonderful views !!
We spent two nights here and it was great! So close to the park entrance and town, but very quiet and the view was amazing.
Although pretty snug, we enjoyed our stay! We would definitely like to come back. Great location!!!
Close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Awesome views, close to town for supplies, but feels away from the maddening crowd. Tiny cabin, Queen Bed in very small bedroom, a futon as 2nd bed, but would completely overwhelm tiny living room-dining-kitchen area. The 3/4 bathroom, ample shower. Well furnished, provides more than the basics.
This was perfect for our weekend anniversary getaway. Quiet, good view, good location. I liked being so near the entrance to RMNP and not having to drive through town to get there. The cabin had everything we needed. Saw elk, coyotes, even added a couple of new birds to my list. Thanks for a great weekend.
I spent every summer at Wonderview — then known as Anderson’s Wonderview — when I was growing up, and have stayed In nearly all of the cabins there. It was fun to return with my husband. While Loch Vale doesn’t have the stunning views of Longs Peak that the others do, we loved its charm and coziness.
The location was perfect and it had everything you would need. The cabin is tiny but it was cozy and cute. The pool was great too.
We over estimated the size of the cabin. Our view was obstructed by tree limbs. All in all I would recommend this site to other people.
