This place was amazing! Clean, well maintained, private and safe. The roads are steep and partially paved, but a 4WD had no problems. I can’t wait to go back!

I almost don’t want to review because I loved it so much. I want to keep it a best kept secret! But it was absolutely wonderful. Clean, peaceful, breath taking location. Michelle was very helpful. Thank you! I will be back for my next trip to North Carolina!!

Cabin was not very clean from the moment we opened the door. Smelt very musty and was dusty. Wet linens left in dryer. Kitchen was not very clean. Stove drip pans were so dirty that they had to be cleaned before we could use the stove. I contacted owner after stay to inform on condition of property but owner made excuse that cleaning service must have been distracted with her kids and the holiday. Just said thank you for letting her know. I do not ever give poor ratings on a stay but was not happy at all with this cabin and its condition when we arrived.

The cabin met all of our expectations! We loved its secluded location and charm, yet it was still close to town. We were able to allow our pups out without being worried about a busy road and close neighbors. It was just what we were looking for on this trip!

This cabin was awesome. Pretty remote but also close to town. They were not kidding about needing AWD/4WD. The road to the house was steep and slick from rain and the driveway was also steep. I have an AWD suv, it did good but I really tested it at this cabin. The cabin is so cozy and perfect for a mountain getaway.

I LOVED this cabin! It was exactly the cabin feel I was going for on my solo mom-vacation. Instructions were simple and I had everything I needed. Perfect location, far off in the woods. The host wasn’t joking when she said you need 4WD - the dirt/gravel road is about 2 miles, with lots of steep inclines. My 4WD handled it fine, just be aware. I will absolutely be back!! Thank you for such a lovely and peaceful stay in adorable Saluda

This beautiful cabin was the perfect getaway for a girls weekend. Cozy and clean, and a short hike to the cutest town with some amazing food. If A/C is an improtant part of your vacation then rest assured that a nap in the loft will change your life. It is much bigger than it appears in the photos. We will definitely be visiting again.

Perfect little cabin for a couples get away. We enjoyed the slower pace for the weekend; a much needed retreat.

I've wanted to stay in a log cabin for some time now, and this one will be hard to top. It's forested, end of the road location make it a quiet respite from a frenetic world, although nearby downtown Saluda is far from frenetic - and that's a good thing! The deck puts you right in the middle of the forest, and the only sounds we heard were the running creek down the mountain from us and occasional birdsong. We ate out a lot but could've prepared a variety of meals with the kitchen accommodations, and did cook some steaks on the grill one night. The main bed was comfy and sleep was deep. Do pay attention to the host's warning about the necessity of 4/All wheel drive vehicles needed for access. I somehow missed it (SMH) and could not get up the gravel road to the home (100-120 yards) with my front wheel drive car, until I tried it - and succeeded - in reverse. That said, I rarely looked forward to this exercise, especially after a night out due to visibility issues. I also had to do this when leaving the property, but it was a much shorter distance to the crest of the hill. Nevertheless, don't count on making it up like I did and instead come in a 4/all-wheel drive like the host recommends. We'll bring ours next time!

It is a good place to get away from it all. Furniture somewhat vintage, but overall a good place for people trying to escape from the city. Make sure you have entry instructions before you drive up there because there is no cell service internet available. There is internet by WiFi once you do check in.

My husband and I stayed in this property in March for two nights. The cabin is rustic and is true to the pictures as well as the descriptions online. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, look no further. We would most definitely stay here again

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the cabin. The kitchen was nicely stocked, we prepped all of our meals and dined out on the inviting deck that had views looking down into the woods. We could hear the rushing creek down below. The bed was comfortable and we slept sound, no outside traffic noise or distractions, just peace. The fireplace was lovely and we practiced our daily yoga in the living room. Walk down the road with our elderly dogs, they really enjoyed the deck. We would definitely stay here again! When we stayed the road was currently under construction due to the floods. Our 4-runner TRD Pro fully packed made it up the hill just fine.

Super cute and cozy log cabin. You will want 4 wheel or AWD to get there. Host was amazing, got back to me with any question's I had very quickly. We would definitely book with that host again.

We had a great weekend at the cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was close to a nice hike at Pearson falls and our excursion to the Tryon Equestrian center for the spartan race
