What a fantastic cabin. The views were breathtaking. All the windows show off the tremendous valley. The kitchen was set up with all needs. Super great place to spend a quiet weekend.

This pedestal home in Mentone, AL is truly special and perfectly situated on the brow with breathtaking, ever-changing views. It was the ideal spot for us to celebrate our 22nd anniversary with some much-needed relaxation. We cooked a few meals and found the kitchen clean, organized, and well-equipped. The location feels wonderfully remote and peaceful, and we loved how quiet it was. The fall décor around the cabin was festive and charming, adding a cozy touch. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided—especially the clearly labeled remotes! The stunning views elevated our stay from simply good to truly wonderful and memorable.

It is just so serene out there at L'Amour. Coffee, Book, Relax till the sun sets. Wonderful temperatures in early September, nice balance. Skip the big grocery store and head to Mentone's markets for excellent food for your stay (it was a game changer for us this year!). We can't wait to come back!

Great place for honeymoons and anniversaries. Beautiful views, different in so many ways. The last 2 miles of road were horrible.

i work in a pretty demanding field & needed a peaceful spot to get away and recenter and just take time to myself without any additional responsibilities. this provided the best spot for that. beautiful scenery & genuinely the most comfortable bed i’ve slept on

The view was lovely, and the house was well appointed. However, the house stayed hot even with air-conditioning and fans. We had to close all the blinds to try to stay cool, and then we had no view. The temps in the afternoon reached the high 70's inside, and if you cook too. Wow! HOT! Also, we felt that the bed was way too high. It was difficult to get in and out of. Otherwise it was comfortable.

The views were absolutely breathtaking—truly picture-perfect—and the location was ideal, with several beautiful hiking trails nearby. Mentone itself is a charming, peaceful little town that made our stay even more special. We absolutely loved every moment of our visit!

Every moment at L'Amour Rock was comfortable and enjoyable. It was a magnificent time away from the hurry and stress of life. Whether we were sitting inside and looking out the wrap-around windows or outside on the deck or in the porch swing, we were surrounded by the beauty of God's creation. We would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to vacation.

My husband and I stayed here for my 50th birthday. Everything about this beautiful place is PERFECT!! I love to stay at unique places and this was definitely that. The views EVERY single day were amazing. The sunsets were epic. I hope we get to return sometime in the future.

A warm and quiet place and I can’t use more words to describe it. I experienced 3 different weather situations here. It’s amazing. Here was very clean and had a plenty enough spaces to make fun with pets. I also worked a little bit here. I love the office room section. Working in a wonderful view of the mountains. Strongly recommend it to everyone.

Love this cabin! So cozy and with such beautiful views. We were very comfortable in every way. Whether you're staying in or going out, the location was great. Loved the little fall decoration touches in the cabin too! Neat and clean, furnishings were well appointed. Highly recommend this lovely getaway.

The place was different and awsome

It was a great place to chill out! Pretty ingenious layout and all the comforts you may need. Great little kitchen to cook in with everything I needed and even a coffee bar! But let's be serious - the deck and the views is why you should definitely book this spot! The grounds outside are also really nice, with other spots to sit and take in the sunrise or sunset. I felt super safe on my own.

The cabin is cute. The view was unbelievable. We brought our little pup - I kept her on a leash because you are on the side of a cliff and it would have been a devastating fall for her. That being said we never felt unsafe at all. The cabin had all the basic cooking supplies for cooking and grilling. The local eateries (Wildflower Cafe and Elevation Bistro) were exceptional, the little Mentone Market is a tiny grocery but I would recommend bringing in any needed groceries. The owner was very responsive with questions. We had no problems at all with our stay and we would definitely stay here again.
