Beautiful setting in a lovely neighborhood. Lots of places to take leisurely strolls. Such a relaxing place to kick back and enjoy the mountains. Well appointed home with everything you need for your stay. We rented for a guys’ getaway. Really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit on the lake! Will definitely be back in the future.

Our family had an incredible stay at this beautiful home. Unfortunately we had to end our trip a couple of days early due to a family emergency back home. We look forward to our next trip back. We certainly will be back and would recommend this placed in a heartbeat!

This house was truly incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked it was with everything we could possibly need. We loved using the fireplace every evening, and having plenty of firewood for both the indoor fireplace and the outdoor fire pit made our nights especially cozy.The deck was a favorite spot—between the large grill, picnic table, and comfortable seating, it was the perfect place to relax and take in the stunning lake views with the mountains as a backdrop. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the spa on the deck, it looked absolutely inviting.The game room was a huge hit with everyone, and we really appreciated the layout of the house—it felt spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group. The location couldn’t have been better, with easy access and no steep roads. Blowing Rock is such a charming town, and our little ones loved the large playground downtown, which we visited multiple times. We also enjoyed tubing at nearby ski resorts, all within about 30 minutes, and made the most of the lovely walking trails in the neighborhood each morning.Maile was an absolutely wonderful host, and we felt so well taken care of throughout our stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property and would love to return!

Excellent experience. The property was beautiful, the host thought of all the details and the communication was fantastic. From the detailed welcome packet a few days prior to arrival , to instant communication to a question we had about the master fireplace, to the amnesties the home offers. Our family will be going back next year and likely will try to work in a summer visit also. Highly recommend this property!!

This home was beautiful and warm for our family. My family enjoyed the amenities, especially the game area. The view was also stunning. The location made you feel like you were the only one in the area. The location is beautiful and quiet. This home is a great place for a family with children of all ages.

What a fantastic house! So well designed inside and out! The three different outside deck spaces were outstanding, we never wanted to leave.

Beautiful mtn house w large bedrooms and a great open area w a fireplace for gathering. Back deck is wonderful with beautiful and peaceful views. A couple of maintenance issues—host/manager were there in no time to make it right! House is stocked better than most VRBOs I have been to. A bit of a drive to most destinations, but that is mtn living.

This was out first trip to Blowing Rock. Both the area and the home are incredible. You can instantly tell this is a custom home and well cared for by the owners. It is super clean and offers everything you may need. The location and view are stunning. We will be returning.

Perfect late summer / early fall weekend celebrating 40th birthdays. The house is perfect for such an occasion. The back deck area is where we lived all weekend. Wouldn’t change a thing!

This cabin is in a secure, small neighborhood of cabins surrounding a beautiful lake. The cabin is in great condition and is very well equipped. The neighborhood is well situated with only a 10 minute drive to downtown Blowing Rock. The lake is well stocked with fish. You can cast from the shore or take a kayak out on the lake. Also, the hot tub is clean and ready to use. Overall, a great vacation option for a family headed to the mountains.

Property was everything described. Very beautiful home with extras not always provided in rental homes. Great communication with owner. The weather did not cooperate but a great time was had in house and downtown shopping. My special needs granddaughter said it was the best birthday (30th) she had ever had!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! Great location and beautiful surroundings. Our trip got delayed due to a winter storm where we live, but Maile was incredibly kind to work with us. We took several teens for my daughters birthday and it was perfect for them with the game room and hot tub. Thank you!

Truly more than we expected! Maile and Ross were great! We can’t thank them enough for the open communication and guidance and answering all of our questions prior to and after our booking. The ride up to any house was most concerning for us and it was everything they said it would be all the roads were cleared and most of the roads were paved with turns leading up to the private community… grant it you are in the mountains! We enjoyed going into the quaint town of Blowing Rock, just lovely!The home was built with LOVE and it truly shows in every detail. As a Real Estate agent myself the only way I can describe it is, it was Picture Perfect upon our arrival. You can feel the warmth and thoughtfulness in every part of the home. This Year instead of buying a bunch of toys for our grand children we decided to give them a trip to the mountains to go snow tubing for the first time at Hawks Nest. This home was perfect. There were 10 of us and we were all very comfortable. The scenery was awesome and the house was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and most definitely would book this home again! Property was in a wonderful gated community around Blowing Rock. We were new to this area and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was. The house itself was beautiful and had everything we needed from the indoor fireplace, outdoor firepit, outdoor hot tub and game room. Communication with the host was top notch and we had no issues at all. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for letting us stay here.

We had a wonderful stay in this very comfortable, beautiful home. The setting was beautiful with an amazing sunset. There was a canoe and kayak available, fantastic fire pit and a very nice hot tub. We enjoyed the relaxed comfort of this home. I’m a bit of a fanatic about checking for cleanliness in a rental and I found sticky drink marks on the master end tables. I had to wipe down the bedroom furniture. Other than that the house was very clean.

My wife, two young daughters, and I had a wonderful time staying here for a long weekend. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, playing table shuffleboard, and most especially walks around the lake trail. We loved being close to the Blue Ridge Parkway with quick trips to Blowing Rock and Boone. We would definitely return to stay.

This beautiful, immaculate home nestled on a private lake with views of the distant mountains proved to be the perfect retreat for our family. We enjoyed early morning fishing off the property’s dock and walks around the lake, canoeing in the afternoon and evening soaks in the hot tub. Although we did not make use of the outdoor fire pit, we did take family game night to a new level with the shuffle board and foosball tables. While we did spend a lot of time touring off site, this property provided additional opportunities for adventure and was equipped with all the comforts of home! We cannot wait to go back!

This magnificent home is situated with lovely views of the lake. IThe home was well appointed with everything that one would need. We were there with 4 couples who spent most of the time on the comfortable deck playing games. Each couple had their own comfy space and beds were hugely relaxing. Maile was communicative when we needed and instructions for our stay were easy to understand. Anyone would be lucky to stay here.

As advertised, this home was super clean, well appointed, and efficiently set-up to provide maximum comfort and enjoyment. We loved the walking trails inside the neighborhood and close proximity to downtown Blowing Rock and Bass Lake Loop Trail. The hot tub, outdoor grill, and apd fantastic views make this a property that we would definitely book again. Highly recommend.
