Lakefront Cabin on The Big Rideau

Welcome to our cozy Lakeside Bunkie on Big Rideau Lake! Come for a small getaway with family or friends just 25 minutes from Smiths Falls. Enjoy the peaceful setting, watch the beautiful sunsets across the lake, listen to the loons, enjoy kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding on the lake.

The bunkie is 10’x16’, sleeps 4 people comfortably with a second story loft with a queen size bed upstairs and a pull-out sofa bed downstairs (double), a small kitchenette, barbecue andmini fridge. There is a full private bathroom with running water attached to the bunkie.

The bunkie is on the same property as the host’s cottage which may be occupied during your stay.

Please park at the top of the hill, and walk down the steps to the bunkie. If you’d like, you can also drive down the driveway to unload your things and then park at the top afterwards.

* The hill/driveway is very steep but there are steps on the side.
* The driveway is shared with 2 other cottages so please be respectful of neighbours.

- No Wifi. There is cell service in our area with certain providers (Rogers).

- No smoking, vaping or excessive drinking inside the bunkie or on our property

- No pets allowed

- Not suitable for people with mobility challenges because of steep hill, uneven terrain and narrow stairs.
