Stayed Oct 18, 2025After signing the contract I received a message stating no discounts would be given for bugs, bats, millipedes, bees, lady bugs & stink bugs. I was NOT told about the yellow jacket hive in the front yard that was very visible (the neighbor I talked to has contacted the owner & Center Lake Hill multiple times about the hive and nothing has been done to rid of it) I was also not told about copper head snakes and how to be very alert when walking through the leafs (which covered the grounds completely, the area is not maintained) When we arrived at the property it was very unkept its old NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS they are very misleading. The back door did not latch or lock & NO CEL SERVICE (Verizon is what I have) We decided to leave the property & contacted the host and we NEVER were contacted back, zero response at all after many attempts. I had to get another place to stay which was not easy in such a small tow. The host knew we did not return to the property (there’s a ring camera at door) the host never contacted us back until five days later when I was back home, I got a call saying they would not give me a refund. NO apology. They were very rude. I WOULD NOT recommend this rental OR CENTER LAKE HILL to anyone.
