Great property, perfect location and wonderful hosts. The house is appointed well, and so convenient to trails and the small hamlet of Twin Lakes. The kitchen is stocked for a gourmet meal at home, and fresh coffee in the morning. The views from the house are gorgeous.

We had such an amazing stay at this property. The location is absolutely incredible - right on the highway driving through the twin lakes village. We stayed Monday - Wednesday, so perhaps the highway would have been busier on weekends, but it was not an issue for us.Twin Lakes is beautiful and you are close enough to do some great walking / hikes out the front door. We didn't do any long hikes (we drove to those) but the walks along the water / on the little trail at the national historic area (literally across the street) was awesome. There are also trails we mountain biked on (the hosts let you use their mountain bikes!!) along the lake that were gorgeous. You could probably bike / walk 2 miles or so along the lake just from the property, or more! The home itself was very clean and so charming. Very rustic, unique and comfortable. We loved having three full bathrooms and two very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. The master suite is wonderful, and the other bedroom is so charming too. No A/C but the open windows letting in fresh mountain air kept it nice and cool. The hosts could not have been nicer. So friendly with such great recommendations. They also gave us a coupon to go to the farm store next door - where the staff was so kind and the food (they make hot dogs, sandwiches, etc) was simple yet delicious and filling and the farm fresh eggs goods were wonderful. They were incredibly responsive and the experience was so worth it. BOOK THIS PLACE!

Super cute cabin. Everything was great. Host was very communicative. The Mountain View from the 2nd floor was amazing. Short hike to a beautiful view of the lakes. Make sure to use the provided bug spray as the mosquitoes will get you.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at the home. It was close enough to activities yet far enough away from towns to feel like we could relax. The lake across the street was perfect to walk over to enjoy. We had the most delicious peaches from the vendor next door. We had a delightful dinner at the Inn. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

My week-long stay in this property was the best rental home experience I've ever had. The house itself is stunning, with more than plenty of space and in a location center to dozens of different outdoor adventure opportunities. Even better than the house itself is the owner/host, Bert. My check-in date was originally in November, however someone in my party was unable to attend due to a sudden death in the family. Bert was more than understanding, allowing me to unfortunately cancel our reservation a day before the scheduled check in date. After this, he gave my party and I priority on rescheduling our stay at the same property, as well as a more than minor discount on this rescheduled stay. Additionally, Bert and I were in constant communication throughout this entire ordeal and during my stay. He provided many recommendations on things like restaurants and hikes, all of which were great recommendations. I truly could not recommend staying at this property or even just at one of Bert's properties with more conviction. Any future stay in the state of Colorado for my party or myself with be with Bert.
