The small cabin was perfect for our stay, and the daily visit from the deer herd was wonderful to see as well.

Quirky, homey, close to everything. Large windows really made the place lovely to stay in. Water pressure was excellent.

This property had considerable smoke damage as if there had been a recent fire inside the cabin. The managers apparently recognized that the smoke was overwhelming because we saw evidence that they'd just purchased room fans. Their explanation was that the people staying before us had had a fire in the fireplace. We've lived with fireplaces in several of our homes and know the difference between the smell of a working fireplace and what we experienced inside this property! (We considered going to a hotel to try to sleep or sleeping in our car but instead we threw open the windows that were operating and ran the fans at full blast, staying away until it was dark.) The bedding, upholstery, and towels were full of smoke; the kitchen cutlery draw was full of coffee grounds and food debris; there were opened food items in the kitchen cabinets and bedside table, under tables and under the cushions of the couch was more debris; there were dirty towels folded and stored with what should've been clean towels. The bedding was ragged, worn, and sloppy. The refrigerator froze our perishable foods. It felt like we were visiting a place that someone's grandparents had abandoned 40 years ago. It was a very uncomfortable experience overall and I would've been ashamed to invite a guest into such a poorly kept home.

Our stay at the cabin was good. Had one small issue, but was taken care of the next morning. It was nice sleeping with the windows open. Nice neighborhood. Everything we needed was in the cabin. Thanks.

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of “step back in time” elements. But comfortable and met our needs. We went 4 wheeling, drove though the Rocky Mountain National Park, visited the Stanley hotel. Couldn’t see everything. Hope to be back some day!

The cabin was sufficient size. Lighting in the bathroom was unique. Bed was super comfy!! Beautiful setting. Loved all the condiments available in cabinets. Really wished there had been a dishwasher. One cannot tell how well previous guests washed their dishes and silverware... so I washed what I needed before using it and again after using it. Great selection of tv channels. The notebook about the cabin and resturants and things to do was especially valuable.

A few days of fishing and sightseeing with my grandson. We had a great time. Caught a few fish and enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect for us. Great location and plenty of room.
