Short drive to Muscle Shoals, music city! Come where you can sleep in peace.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025We absolutely loved our stay at Kay’s cabin. Nita is awesome and helped with any needs we had. The horses came right up to the cabin for me to pet them and it made my heart so happy. I love feeding them too. We will definitely stay here again! Our dogs had the time of their life.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025I LOVED every second of my stay in the Kays cabin at this location. Everything you could need to cook meals was provided. I loved how safe and quiet it was with other families at the mini RV park. Adorably friendly horses in the back. Great space to sit on front or back porch. Small shower/bathroom but enough space for one person at a time. Water pressure was excellent AND THE KING Size BED was sooooo comfortable. Great quality sheets. Trash cans every where to dispose after the dogs too. Very clean!Proximity to grocery store was less than 7minutes drive. Highly recommend visiting the Joe Wheeler lake. And Only 50 minutes to Huntsville, AL too! Owners made themselves accessible for questions but nothing was needed! If you’re looking for a quiet place to recharge or a landing space to go enjoy neighboring cities from, I cannot say enough good things about this location.

Stayed May 22, 2025Nita was very easy to communicate with, and we just loved the property. It was cozy and cute, just right for 2 people, and we loved the horses off the back fence. We brought our dog, and it was an easy property to walk around with plenty of trash cans placed around the area. It was very quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for.

Stayed Aug 22, 2024The stay was great. I would stay there again. My only complaint is that it was extremely difficult to get to the fishing pond.

Stayed May 24, 2024We had such an amazing stay! The place was clean and decorated very cute. We enjoyed feeding and petting the horses which was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be staying again on any short trips we have to Wheeler/Wilson. It was close to the dam/ramp. There were many great restaurants to eat at locally. There was bad weather coming in while we were staying and I checked in with the host to see where local storm shelters were and they got back with us in a very timely matter (luckily didn’t need to go to one). We absolutely LOVED the property.
