Just Chillin on the Brow steps to downtown

The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved sitting on the screened in patio and watching the sunsets. The host was very nice and accommodating. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect two days in Mentone! The cabin had everything we needed and the host is easy to contact with questions. Will be back!

One of my favorite locations to date. The cabin is very welcoming with lots of small details that give the place a feeling of home. A very well-kept front garden greeted us when we arrived. Inside the spaces were very clean and the layout comfortable. What struck us was the attention to detail...the furniture and appliances were high quality and the decor tasteful. The view from the screened porch was pleasant and we spent a good amount of time there. The kitchen was well equipped! And, all this a 3 minute walk from the shops in Menton, and 9 minute drive from Desoto falls. Great experience!

This is my third stay at ‘chillin on the brow’. It is truly a gem in Mentone, Al. The view and sunsets are ibeautiful from screened in porch! I appreciate that it is clean, comfortable, decor is awesome, and host responds quickly to any concern or question you might have. Can’t wait to return!

First, communication with the owner was fast. Second, the location of the property is right off the Main Street leading into Mentone; You can’t get much better than that. Third, the inside of the house is warm and welcoming. Full kitchen with all the amenities of home to cook a meal. The couch inside the main den is soft and great for long conversations. Lastly, the outside deck and furniture; Perfect! Looking for go back again in the fall.

Four of us totally enjoy our weekend at this beautiful cabin that had everything we needed and the sunsets were amazing. Its location is perfect for exploring this area. Whoever they have cleaning this cabin does an amazing job because I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness!! Kevin the host was great to work with and always just a text or call away if needed!

This was a very nice home with a beautiful view. It was very convenient to the small shops and restaurants in Mentone, and to both Little River Canyon and Desoto Falls. We especially enjoyed the lovely screened porch with comfortable seating to enjoy the view, and the comfortable king size bed! Plenty of great pillows.

This cabin is awesome it was clean and looked just like the pictures. The view was beautiful and the back screened in patio made it perfect to sit and enjoy. The location was perfect as well it was a short walk to town and there is also a park you could walk to with another amazing view I highly recommend. All this would have made it worth it but add in Kevin who is an amazing host very attentive and replies very quickly to messages and questions it was one of the best trips we have had in a while. I highly recommend this cabin for your stay.

I can't say enough good things about this cabin. Our host Kevin checked on us after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is perfect! It's beautifully decorated with top notch furnishings. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook with or cook on. Located a minute from shops and restaurants. The view was amazing! We will definitely be back and will recommend to our family and friends.

Our host called to check on us right after check in just to make sure all was good. The layout of the house was perfect for three women. It would work well for a family also. The kitchen was well stocked. The fireplace was great ! And the location is perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this house again. Everything was comfortable and set up for guests. The requests when leaving the property at the end of the stay were very minimal and much more reasonable than any other house I’ve rented. The beds were comfortable and the house is nicely decorated. The screened porch view is very peaceful. The furniture is comfortable. The house is an easy walk to town and to the brow park.

The home was gorgeous, welcoming and relaxing. Beautiful at Christmas time! We so needed a time away from our year long grind in every way. The sunsets were breathtaking from the back porch and from the brow that’s only a 4 minute walk up the hill. For our stay to get incredible sunset pics was special. The quietness of this cabin was southing and refreshing from the daily grind we were seeking refuge. The cabin was gorgeous and relaxing. Beds were so comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed to make enjoyable meals. You are located within walking distance from the local merchants and a short drive to Desota Falls and Little River Canyon. We stayed a long weekend here and Just Chillin was perfect! It was immaculately clean and sooooo cozy. The owner was incredibly nice and very communicative. The view was just beautiful. We had a wonderful time staying here. If you're looking for something cozy and welcoming, this is the place. We had the fire going every night and probably spent more time at the cabin than we intended because it was just so comfortable and relaxing.

Check In instructions were very clear as well. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch on the main level with the beautiful sunset views. Will definitely book this cabin on a future visit.

Just Chillin was absolutely fabulous! The home was so clean and had everything you would need! The owner texted the first evening. Amazing location and everything there is walkable! The bed is so comfortable. We had an excellent stay and will definitely be back here. I’m always open to trying new places, but we would like to stay here from now on. Mentone is such a cute little place to get away!

Two adult couples (all 65) needed a quiet place to get away and visit for a few days. Just Chillin' suited us perfectly. The house was spacious enough without being sprawling; it was clean; it was easy to find; and it was quite comfortable. Check-in was a breeze and support from the owner was excellent. Would gladly rent this house again if we are ever in the area.

Perfect in every way. It was everything I needed for a perfect getaway and a great vacation. Kevin is an exceptional host. This is my third visit, and when I need to get away from the hustle and bustle of city living, I always come back to Just Chillin!

We enjoyed our stay at Just Chillin! A great place to unwind and relax. An easy walk to downtown Mentone and steps from Brow Park. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It had cozy back porch for enjoying the sunset and the sounds of nature surrounding you. The wind chimes added a zen-like tranquility to any time spent sitting on the back porch.

Lovely weekend trip for three adults. The porch and view are stunning. Great downtown location right on the ridge. We walked (though the curve on the main road is tricky for safely crossing) to the Wildflower Cafe for dinner and then to the market on Saturday. We had some severe weather and spent most of one day hunkered down — Kevin was in communication with us about staying safe — so he extended our check out time so we could have a day of nice weather for hiking. Lots of puzzles, kitchen wares, blankets, and pillows. Very cozy, comfy beds and furniture. Bring your own toiletries. No bathroom soap or shampoo. Very convenient, easy communication. We’ll be back!

Great cabin, location, views, and host! This well-appointed cabin is cozy, yet has plenty of space. Wish it was just a bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the firepit and fabulous deck! We were extremely happy with this house! It is walking distance to the best spots in town like Wildflower Cafe and the Mentone Market. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The screened porch was really the reason we picked this house and it did not disappoint. When you leave the driveway you walk up the left for a great walk with wonderful views. The house exceeded our expectations, and we are already planning to book it again next year!

We had a great stay with friends at “Just Chillin.” The accommodations were perfect for us! Kevin was great to communicate with and we loved everything about the cabin. Highly recommend!

JUST CHILLIN' at Mentone for a wonderful 55th anniversary celebration! Perfect mountain home with all the ammenities and personal touches of home. kevin was great to make suggestions on sites to explore and dining ideas..The Hatter was the perfect place for our special dinner night. The food was great and the staff exceptional. Thank you Kevin. The steak was excellent and so was the red fish.. JUST CHILLIN was so cozy on our cold mornings. The fireplace was just right to warm us quickly too! I must also mention how very comforable the downstairs kingsize bed was!!! We slept so so good!!!! We would definitely consider a future trip on the brow at JUST CHILLIN! The folks in Mentone are so friendly!!!! We enjoyed everything about the cabin! I worked a puzzle that was provided and watched hallmark Christmas movies. We rode around everywhere and enjoyed the colors of fall. The screened in back porch was our favorite place to hang out! Super clean and the host was very friendly thank you for sharing your lovely cabin!

Just Chillin provides everything for the perfect family stay! We cooked in the fully equipped kitchen, appreciated the fireplaces (indoor and out) as gathering spaces for conversation, and loved the screened in porch with glorious sunset views. The warm wood glow throughout the home created a cozy feel complimented by touches of woodsy decor. We slept great in comfortable beds and smartly used space and layout. We would absolutely stay at just Chillin again!
