Our stay was exceptional. Amazing Cabin and Host.

This cabin was the perfect rental for my family of 4 (kids 9 and 11) and my parents. The location was perfect - close to Main Street but secluded in the mountains with great scenic views. The owner was wonderful to work with and has some nice touches that make this rental feel like a home away from home. We will be back!

This was the nicest most well appointed home we have visited in all the years we have used VRBO. The home is amazing and the host was even more amazing. This was the perfect trip for our family.

By far the best property we hsve ever rented. The host, the facility, condition, decorating and hospitality were simply unrivaled. We loved the experience despite the cool rainy weather.

Host fabulous, very attentive, cabin exceptional

Only one word needed to describe this place - perfection. Within 5 minutes of walking in the front door it felt like home. Very clean and cozy, we enjoyed both fireplaces (gas in living room and wood burning on porch). Discovering small details along the way was a great touch (pumpkin bread in the freezer, wine & beer & bottled water, plentiful firewood, Halloween candy, sparkling clean wine glasses, stocked kitchen, etc.). Host was attentive and gracious. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Our stay at this adorable home was absolute heaven!! From the beautiful and comfy furnishings to the well equipped and stocked amenities (fireplaces w/wood, kitchen necessities, plentiful bedding and towels, etc…) we didn’t want for a thing. That is, except for the fact that we didn’t want to leave!!

The hostess did everything she could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Environment clean, comfortable and well equipped. Outdoor living space just as beautiful as indoors. We felt like royalty! Neighborhood quiet, friendly with beautiful mountain views. We will definitely return.

My favorite VRBO so far! Beautiful inside and out. Amazing host who provided all our needs and even some delicious homemade breads! Perfect spot halfway between Sky Valley for golf, and the Highlands for dinners and shopping. Will absolutely stay again

The cabin was well appointed and meticulously clean. We loved our stay.

The property clean, loved the gas log fireplace when have been nice to even have gas logs on the screened in back patio. The property is located close to town which was very convenient for me since I ate out everyday.

This cabin was very comfortable and was located close to town so that it was convenient to run to the grocery store shop or dine. The best thing about the house is the back porch in the fireplace. We lived out there for three days. All the wood we needed was supplied for the fireplace and there were all the paper products and soap needed for all the appliances and the bathrooms very well stocked. I would highly recommend.

This is my third stay at horseshoe cabin. It is my favorite place to stay in Highlands. The cabin is beautifully furnished and extremely well supplied. The host has thought of everything! I truly enjoyed my stay!!

We had the most wonderful weekend at the Horseshoe Cabin! From the moment we arrived with the house all lit we knew we were in for a treat. The home is roomy and cozy at the same time. The back porch became our favorite spot where we enjoyed the crisp weather, a rolling fire, glasses of wine, sounds of crickets and weekend football on the TV. Our host, Mary Ann, could not have been better. She provided a beautiful welcome tray, lovely bottle of wine and also kept in contact in case we needed anything at all. The house is spotless, well organized and well stocked. We enjoyed hiking on the nearby trails and saw families of deer right by the house! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home! We can’t wait to return!!

Exceptional

Our stay in this cabin has been the most beautiful stay. The cabin is equipped with everything and anything you could possibly need! The beds are comfortable. The family room is comfortable. The back patio is first class. There is NOTHING NEGATIVE I would stay.

The cabin exceeded our expectations! More beautiful than the pictures. Very comfortable furnishings, large rooms, and beautifully decorated. Everything you would need upon arrival from coffee to snacks. The large porches added very enjoyable living space with a beautiful view. We would highly recommend Horseshoe Cabin!

My husband and I just returned home from a stay in this welcoming and beautiful cabin in Highlands. We absolutely did not want to leave!! Mary Ann could not have been a better host and she thinks of everything to make you feel at home and a special guest in her home. It’s very close to downtown Highlands with all the fun shopping and excellent restaurants. We’ve stay in several different properties in the Highlands/Cashiers area and this is one that we definitely want to return to!! It was perfect for us!I highly recommend this one!! You won’t be disappointed!

Treated my two college students to a weekend away in the Highlands. This home is a 15 out of 10. I must say, as an owner of a VRBO myself, I am a little jealous. The amenities and personal touches are simply amazing. It's obvious from start to finish that Mary Ann takes great pride in her home and ensuring a wonderful stay for her guests. I wish I could give this listing more than 5 stars. One of my best ever experiences on VRBO. Mary Ann sent lots of pre-check-in information and made things so easy. Her home was amazing. Lots of extra touches including homemade bread, refrigerator stocked with beverages, comfy bed linens, plush towels. The back porch was a wonderful space to watch football, build a fire, sit and visit. She had a full supply of wood and fire starters. The best part was we could just leave when our time was up. No check out list which was fantastic. Easy drive to downtown Highlands. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here with another couple, who are best friends, & the 4 of us were extremely satisfied. The owner provided exceptional value not only with the accommodations but also provided food in freezer, some beer & wine, & kitchen was fully stocked with spices & supplies. The furniture was very comfortable & we spent a lot of time on the porch. The Best VRBO we have ever stayed & we all can't wait to return!!! Thanks Mary Ann!!!

Although we had some issues; this has to be the best property/manager we have experienced; what a wonderful setting and detail of the cabin/home; highly recommend this property for future stays: I know Judy and me will asap?????
