In Town, Yet Wooded - Cozy 2BR Cabin in Mentone

This property was situated in a quiet and peaceful location. It was very clean and all amenities were easy to use to make our stay comfortable.

Nice cabin walking distance to Mentone. Ice maker needs to be fixed and need new outside chairs around the firepit. Also, better instructions for the lockbox that holds the key to the door. We loved it there and had a wonderful experience.

Delightful place to stay!

Looks as cute in person as in the pictures! All the small touches (night lights, coffee grounds, a few check-in treats) were there and appreciated! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend this cabin. Loved it!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hootin’ Henri! The peacefulness and serenity were exactly what we were looking for and we found it. We will definitely be back!

A cute cabin within walking distance to the Wildflower Cafe and Mentone Market. Very nice area.

The location is lovely and the beds are comfy! It was perfect and exactly what we needed for that night.

We would prefer to have a pull-up blind on the entry doorfor privacy.

This cabin was the perfect place for us to relax during our short stay. Our host was exceptionally kind and responsive. The pictures show a great little cabin, but we walked in to overwhelming feelings of peace and relaxation, which was exactly what we didn’t know we needed. I would highly recommend this place and the host to anyone!

We had a really good stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to the center of town. We certainly recommend this property.

Very restful place to vacation. Enjoyed a hike to DeSoto Falls which was nearby.

Juli’s place was immaculate and had every detail we needed for a quick overnight. Both beds were amazingly comfortable, such that we didn’t want to get up in the morning!

Love all the little art pieces and how cold the house was. I have health issues with heat intolerance so the air units were AMAZING! The guest book was neat to read as well as the article about the dog that travels. Loved being here. Not new to Mentone but just love to come back every now and again.

This was a cute little cabin and perfect for our 1 night stay between camp sessions. It was very clean. The decor is super cute and cabin has recently been updated. The only thing that I didn’t realize was that the laundry was shared and not in the cabin.

Very clean and well thought out design . Mentone is a small town and this location was quiet yet convenient to town center. The DeSoto Falls up the street and a wonderful sunset is not far away! Cozy and Sweet cabin…HOOT

Everything that you will need to enjoy yourself is in the cabin. Some funky paintings a cool shower in the master tv is an adventure but we figured it out. AC units really keeps the place cool with ceiling fans throughout. Didn’t make a fire pit fire but cooked out some steaks on the charcoal grill. We’ll be back to Hootin Henri!

Overall stay was good. Several maintenance items need attention

Hootin' Henri gave us great access to the waterfalls near Mentone and Fort Payne, Alabama. We enjoyed our time at the cabin and exploring the area. The cabin was conveniently located and had everything we needed. I have recommended this property to several friends who will be visiting that area.

I was pleasantly surprised by this property. It met or exceeded all my expectations, everything was as advertised, and the host was very helpful.

Communication with Juli was awesome. We did have a couple of issues. I believe the FireStick failed because we couldn't watch any TV. (We didn't come there to watch TV, but the next guest might be concerned). The main issue that I think you need to address is there is septic gasses coming from Shower and toilet. We had to keep the door closed. These are just some suggestions because we love the place and Juli was awesome to communicate with.

Property was clean, cozy, warm and had everything we needed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The perfect getaway for our anniversary. Check in and check out were a breeze. Thank you!

It was perfect for a short getaway from the city. Comfortable and quiet. Clean and cute! Juli was extremely responsive. I would definitely stay at Hoot Owl Hollows again!

Our stay at the Hootin' Henri cabin was great. The cabin was very clean. All communication with the hosts was clear and concise. Overall, we rate our experience as a 10 out of 10.

The cabin was perfect and I loved we could bring our dogs. The town has alot of cute little shops and Desoto National Park was beautiful
