Wonderful place for our family vacation! Loved the beach and fishing was good too. House very clean and spacious! Love to stay again!

We've been going to Minnesota for our summer vacation for several years, but this year's vacation was hands down our favorite! The kids are already begging us to bring them back next summer. We were so impressed by this rental for so many reasons. We were welcomed with a beautiful sign and care package with several goodies. The home was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we could possibly need to feel at home. The rooms acommodated our family of 8 with room to spare--no small feat! The sandy beach was our favorite part, and the house had every possible water accessory we could need. We roasted s'mores a few evenings over the backyard firepit, and everyone loved the comfortable poly adirondack chairs. We spent hours watched the little ones build sand castles while the bigs explored in the kayaks and paddle boards. The location was top notch, and we adored our visits to Mission Park just down the road. We played a lot of pickleball, explored the trails to hunt for gnomes, and the littles loved the playground. If it was a rainy day, we gathered around the large dinette table or on the front screened in porch for some card/board games. The mosquitoes weren't nearly as bad as other parts of the state for that time of year, and the lake water was very clear. The hosts did a great job answering all of our questions ahead of time, and they were available for any questions during our stay. I can't recommend this rental and location highly enough!

Everything about this property surpassed our expectations! We stayed at this property for our annual (multi-generation) family cabin week. This property had something for everyone! There was not an amenity that was not thought of. We had everything we needed and then some. The location is amazing! When we took a break from the beautiful sandy beach and lake, we ventured over to the park for pickleball and tennis. We ended most nights with a campfire. Our host was helpful and responsive. We look forward to coming back again next summer!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this delightful log home on Horseshoe Lake. The property is immaculately clean, well equipped, with plenty of amenities, games and toys for kids and grown up. We particularly enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake and making s’mores on a log fire.

This home is a gem. Our family of 6 adults/6 kids really enjoyed our stay. The amenities included were wonderful! So clean and cozy with comfortable beds and lovely bedding. The kids loved the game room and enjoyed the snowshoes too. We brought snowmobiles, sleds and a portable fish house and were blessed with great winter weather to enjoy the outdoors. And to top it off, the owners had a welcome basket there waiting for us when we arrived and were quick to respond to any questions we had! Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us!

We were a group of 3 families with kids ranging from 11 - 15 years old who stayed at this property over MEA weekend. We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties over the years and this was definitely one of the best. The location was excellent as it was in between Crosslake and Nisswa and we were able to enjoy both easily. The property itself is perfect. The beach area is big and the yard is also big so there is lots of room for yard games and for the kids to run around. The firepit by the lake was a favorite place for all of us and there was already tons of wood ready for the bonfires when we got there. The cabin is also just down the street from a wonderful park that has pickleball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, walking trails, a picnic shelter and much more. It was great for the kids to be able to walk down there and play pickleball or basketball whenever they wanted. The house was very clean and spacious and was by far the most well-stocked rental we have stayed at. They thought of EVERYTHING! They basement has a ping pong table, basketball game, darts, a full-size extra fridge, and a large couch and TV for watching movies. There is also a storage space with paddleboards, outdoor games, pickleball paddles, life jackets, and snow shoes! Everything you need! We were blessed with amazing weather while we were there and the kayaks, canoe, and paddleboards were used a lot. It was so nice to not have to go rent those or bring our own with us. Truly I cannot say enough good things about how well-stocked this property is. The owners were very responsive when we had questions and they were very easy to work with. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back this winter so we can try out the snow shoes.
