This cabin has everything you need. The grill had plenty of propane and appeared to be new. Very charming stay! Neat art and decorations in the cabin. We will definitely be returning.

Very clean and comfortable. All the comforts of home. Close to downtown Mentone without feeling like it. All dishware/pans were in great condition. Something you don’t see in most rentals. Great use of space and loved the decor!

Great little retreat!

We loved the layout of the cabin. The view from most of the windows was of the woods which made it feel more private. The kitchen had sufficient dishes and cookware and would have been easy to prepare a meal. We enjoyed the fire pit one day. There were plenty of towels and other amenities. We did have an issue with the mini split but it was resolved quickly. The large acorns hitting the metal roof was noisy at times but didn’t prevent sleep.

We loved our stay at Hoot Owl Hollow! The cottage, with all of the art, books and owl decor was so well thought out and cozy. No detail was left out to make sure our needs were met. The soaking tub was most excellent, and the furniture was so comfortable with many choices for relaxing, including the porch. A fire was set up for us out front and the lights were on when we arrived. Our host was available and responsive to our additional needs. The setting was secluded and beautiful, yet very close to town. The last morning of our stay we saw a family of deer quietly grazing outside the kitchen window!

Perfect location, close to everything. Had all the amenities of home. Loved sitting out on the front porch at night.

Our first time in Mentone. Came for our 20th anniversary. The cottage was just our style and we were so comfortable and happy there for three nights. Much needed relaxation and nature time. We plan to come back.

Excellent. As a person who lives in a 520 sq ft cabin, just a hint concerning the Murphy bed. You may want to consider a full size bed rather than the queen murphy. The only irritation was the bedroom door will not open nor shut without picking up the bed. This was an irritant to me because I like quiet and dark when I sleep. The door issue makes privacy in the bedroom a problem.

This cabin is so adorable and cozy and we loved spending a weekend here! The host was nice and responsive, too!We would definitely stay here again with no hesitation!

Great cabin

This was the perfect cabin to have a few days to reset after holiday crazy and family emergencies! It was cozy and warm and every comfort needed. Exactly what I was hoping for…thank you so much and for being so helpful and communicative!

We had a great weekend away in a tucked away little nook. Property was absolutely perfect. We were close to the Wildflower Cafe and all the wonderfulness that is Mentone. I highly recommend!

Very pretty cabin with all the amenities. Very peaceful getaway. Cabin actually felt larger than it was with a great layout. Owner was great with communication. Only negative was some kind of permanent stain in tub, but there was 2 separate showers to use. Kitchen has all the amenities. Cabin was very clean.

Lovely property. Beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. Close to DeSoto Park which was the reason for our visit. Hosts thought of everything you would need for your stay. Hope to return soon! Would definitely recommend!

This place was like a little home away from home. It was so clean and tidy and decorated so craftily. It was quiet and private. The host was easy to contact and very generous with the amenities. We didn't long for a thing while we were there. The town is minutes within walking distance and the shops and cafes are wonderful! The Winking Owl is a magical place where time stands still. We'll definitely return on our next vacation.
