Cabin was cozy. It did say they had a gas fireplace but it was not connected. We stayed warm though with central heat. Loved the heated bathroom. Beds seemed smaller to be a queen. We enjoyed being outside at the fire pit the last night. The kitchen had everything we needed. Dishwasher was there but hadn’t been installed.

Loved our stay at Green acres. The house is cozy and quaint!! Naps on the porch with the creek in the background are just what the dr ordered for relaxation. The road getting to the cabin, a snake drew up, but it was well worth it!! John was super attentive!!

This is a great property for a weekend getaway! The home was very clean and well stocked with everything you need; just as pictured (great interior decorating!), and very comfortable. It's a little remote but close enough to town for shopping, dining, events. Very relaxing. Owners are very nice and easy to communicate with, no problems at all! 10/10 would stay again!

I can’t recommend this cabin enough. At first glance it was a little ways from Highlands but the property made the short drive more than worth it. Beautiful yard with a clear stream. Well maintained and equipped. The interior is cozy with a great view from the living area. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook nice meals.

Quiet and well decorated cabin was just what we were looking for. The owners were so nice, and the cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. We did notice a slight smell that permeated everything in the cabin, and which was on our clothes that we brought home, which detracted from the experience a bit. Still a great place overall.

Green Acres was truly a magical piece of heaven nestled in the gorgeous NC mountains. A special treat was the tranquil creek running parallel to the spacious grassy knoll at the base of the property. The cabin was surrounded by all of mother natures beauty, towering trees, festive birds, and fanciful bees. Watching the Hummingbirds enjoy the nectar feeder attached to the large picture window overlooking the estate was truly a delight as we became one with nature. This lovely retreat has a well stocked kitchen for delicious meal prep, a generous supply of paper products, toiletries, linens, and many other extras. To our surprise the cabin was artfully equipped with oodles of mind engaging puzzles, books, games, and charming eye stimuli throughout. The tasteful decor was exceptional! Genuine thought and placement of each curated item made this truly one of the most charming homes we’ve ever stayed at. I soaked in the enchanted surroundings and delve into many of the provided books that sparked joy and harmony in my life. I’m eternally grateful for such a memorable stay and look forward to a return visit!

Very clean cabin. Stocked very well. Nice yard to relax with creek running across back of property. Very little cell service, but was kinda nice to just unwind from everything. Wifi did connect to allow searching for things in the are. Overall great experience. Wish i was back there tonight enjoying cool weather.

We had a wonderful time at Green Acres! The cabin is absolutely lovely. Everything you could possibly need is there every detail has been thought of. The hosts have done a super job at making it feel cozy and welcoming. Town is close enough to make an easy ride but far enough away to really feel peace & quiet which is just what my family needed. We will definitely be visiting again!!!

My wife and I stayed at this house and really liked it. Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. House was cozy and well furnished. It sits in a beautiful valley beside a stream. Very relaxing. We enjoyed massages in downtown Highland at the Old Edwards Inn, ate at the incredible restaurants and enjoyed the nightlife. We’ll definitely be back!
