High Point Cottage in the heart of Mentone!

The cottage was perfect! It provided plenty of personal space as well as together space. It was an excellent hub for activities in the area we desired to see: DeSoto State Park, AL and Fort Payne, AL activities.

We loved the porch and outdoor seating area.

Fantastic little house. Clean and comfortable, and right by the brow which provided excellent views.. Will stay again!

Property was easy to find and checkin a breeze. Communications with the host were easy. The kitchen had very basic supplies. I would suggest a sponge for cleanup. There were a large ammount of ladybird beetles in the home. I am not sure how they got in. I would suggest some additional pillows as the one there are few and thin. Overall a good experience. An 8/10

The location was lovely and close to downtown Mentone. The outdoor furniture in the patio could use some cleaning but other than that no complaints. This was one of the easiest to check out of places we have ever stayed.

Mentone is the absolute perfect spot for a 4 day stay - great hikes and waterfalls, even in the summer. Cute shops and within easy distance to bigger groceries. Our family really enjoyed this stay because the house is great. We had a fire one night, saw fireflies and were close to fun attractions (DeSoto Park, Little River Canyon and more!) while enjoying the ease of cooking good meals and having coffee in the lazy morning. The house really had it all and made our stay super easy, even with kids!

Although the weather wasn’t favorable we enjoyed our visit and stay. Owners were accommodating to ongoing WiFi challenges beyond their control.

The cottage is even more amazing in person than in the photos!! The inside is very comfortable & beautifully decorated. We also enjoyed spending time on the porch swing, taking in the fresh air, the quiet, & all the nature. Mentone itself is a lovely little town with great shops & there are also a LOT of hiking trails, waterfalls, & outdoor activities very close by. We're planning to stay again sometime!!

The ice maker is not working.

This was our third time staying here and it was just as perfect as the first two times. This time we had lots of snow! This place is the perfect location to relax and just enjoy yourself. We look forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay. We liked the house . It had everything we needed. My girls loved the butterfly room. We like mentone it is a beautiful town.

Cozy cottage with plenty of room for two teens to have their own area away from parents… design and artistic decorations are fantastic. Love the location, and cleanliness, everything seemed brand new and very nice.

The property is beautiful!! The owners are very nice and make everything so simple! I wish we could’ve stayed longer but work calls. I definitely will come back and bring family and friends.!!

The house was everything we hoped it would be. We traveled through the area and saw wonderful scenery, shops and waterfalls. We are planning a return visit in the very near future. Thanks for a wonderful visit.
