Very secluded and peaceful home. We enjoyed spending time in the evening on the screened in porch. We visited Luray Caverns which were spectular and worth the visit. Our children went horseback riding in Front Royal and had a nice time. We drove through Shanandoah skyline drive which was beautiful and also hiked some easy trails.

Holiday weekend stay to attend a family wedding nearby. The house is very clean with a well stocked kitchen in terms of supplies and dishes. Very serene setting - exceptionally quiet. Porch overlooking yard is very relaxing. Just be aware that house is located off of dirt roads and is 10-15 minutes away from any businesses.

We had a very nice stay here. The porch was really nice and we enjoyed the view of the mountains. The house had everything we needed and lots of space. Unfortunately we arrived at night and it was very hard to find all the turns in the dark and we had no reception on our phones so it was tricky getting to the house. But once we found it, we had a great stay!

The ac was broke she said she didn't know. Can't be true she lives there when it's not rented and it was hot the day before. She sent some one at 10.30 pm to fix it. Said it was fixed it wasn't. So i told her i was in town trying to help my nieces get ready for her wedding. I asked her a couple times to please talk to my husband finally she did after me telling her im trying to help get ready for a wedding. She came over to repair it my husband was late and didn't get to be in the wedding pictures. She said she would refund us 70 because it was listed as a house with ac.a week went by my husband asked her about the refund she ignored him. The message he sent was marked as read. So i asked her the week after where the refund was and that my husband had asked about it. She said she sent it and she never got a message from him. And then she was nasty to me about asking for the refund. Then when our conversation was over she went on vrbo and submitted it. Nice house not nice host not a nice host

Nice property- only issue was that one of the beds noted in the listing was actually a blow up bed.

This was an awesome set up to meet friends after wine tasting in the area. The kids loved the swing and trampoline. Marina responded quickly and we had a great night.

This house was the perfect size for our group of 5 women on a girls' weekend. The kitchen was well furnished for cooking our meals for the weekend, and we had plenty of room for everyone to have their own bed. The house was secluded, but not far from wineries and other attractions. The only thing we wish we had known about is that the roads leading to the house from Linden, including the driveway, were a bit steep. It snowed one of the days we were there--very peaceful and beautiful in the area around the house. Before the snow started, we moved some of our cars down to the town (near the interstate), to avoid having to drive down the steep driveway and roads in the snow. I would recommend a vehicle with 4WD, particularly in the winter. Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay and I would love to return in warmer weather to enjoy the outside amenities.

Very secluded area, perfect for our elopement! The lake was easy to access from the driveway and was gorgeous. The house itself was homey and fully stocked with everything you could imagine you may need. We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave!

Had a great overnight getaway with friends! Plenty of room for everyone! Loved sitting out on the screened in porch and enjoying the view and the hummingbirds. Wish we had more time to spend there.
