Helen Riverside Cabin-Chattahoochee River-Walk to Town

the cabin was nice and we liked it except there was no blender as stated and there were not enough hangers in the closets. Still had a nice stay.

Great cabin, great location, great time! We had an amazing time on our visit to Helen. Part of what made it great was the cabin. It was clean and cozy and had much to keep us entertained. We loved being by the river and relaxing next to the fire. The location felt quiet and secluded, yet it was a short walk into town.

Relaxing and quiet. Close enough to walk to Main Street. Enjoyed the porch and listening to the water. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the coziness of the cabin.

Highly recommend!!! My family did not want to leave. The home was super clean and comfortable, cozy and well appointed. Beautiful, quiet location on the river yet right in town with an easy walk to shops and restaurants and easy drives to local attractions. The hosts were very communicative and welcoming. We look forward to returning one day soon.

Very clean, great location on the river and very important (for us) communication via text was almost immediate for the few questions we had.

We loved everything about our stay at the Riverside Cabin in Helen! The location was close enough to walk to everything in town. My husband loved being able to walk to Betty’s every morning to get his favorite coffee. The deck was the perfect place to sit and read a book while we listened to the river and the rain on several mornings. We used the fire pit out back every night. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our youngest loved the upstairs loft bedroom. We visit Helen a couple times each year and this is our new favorite place to stay!

The cabin was in great condition and the River view was excellent. Having the fire pit close to the river made for a fun night. The host kept us informed prior to the stay and on the day of arrival.

Had another fantastic stay at the cabin. Unfortunately had to cut out a day early due to the forecasted ice storm. David was fantastic reaching out to us while there and providing local knowledge on the potential impacts. Will definitely keep returning to this peaceful cabin.

Cabin was very clean and convenient to town. The property had everything we needed for a great stay. We had excellent communication with the host throughout the whole process. We enjoyed our stay very much and would book this property again.

What an amazing place to stay! So close to downtown Helen that you can just walk, but far enough away that you have some peace and quiet. The river running right behind the house is so peaceful. Sit on the back porch and just enjoy the sounds and views. The inside of the cabin is beautiful and has all you need. Thank you for the amazing stay!

Very quiet listening to the river. Accommodations are excellent and all stocked kitchen. Easy walk to town or the grocery store.

The house was extremely clean with all the amenities. A beautiful setting and within walking distance to everything. Eat breakfast at the IGA - yes, the grocery store.....it was fantastic. And, don't forget the wineries and breweries which are abundant to Helen.

The upstairs bedroom lacks total privacy as it is open to the downstairs.

The cabin was wonderful. The location was good,We did encounter one problem. When we went to get extra towels from under the sink they were soured. They had been put away damp. They smelled awful and was unusable.

Charming and spacious cabin in a beautiful setting with many mature trees and the river running right past. We loved sitting on the porch, listening to the river! Loved it! Everything was great!

What a great cabin! I highly recommend this. We had others go with us to Helen and they stayed in various other hotels and they all dedicated this cabin as the meeting spot. The owner also supplies you with everything from toilet paper to cups and even sheets and blankets. I will definitely rent again.

Location. location location. !!

We have visited Helen several times and tried VRBOs and hotels throughout the city. This is BY FAR our favorite. You can easily walk anywhere on the strip, but it’s very tranquil on the cabin’s street. The cabin was exceptionally clean and cozy, and it was stocked with literally everything we could need. You can tell the owners really put a lot of thought into what their guests might need. Our favorite part was the beautiful back porch. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Easy check in and easy departure. We loved the cabin. My 91 yo mother-in-law had the downstairs bedroom and bath. My husband and I had the bedroom and bath in the loft. Both were great. We loved the location on the Chattahoochee River. We sat on the balcony porch drinking our coffee in the morning. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us.

This was our 9th stay at this fabulous cabin. We take a few trips to Helen each year and this is by far our favorite place to stay! We will be back in the fall.

We love this cabin, this was our 6th.stay here.It would be nice to have grab bars in the two large tubs. The balcony is great, but could use a really good scrubbing. We love sitting on the balcony watching the tubers and the river.

This cabin was amazing and enough out of the way of all the noise down town during the busy weekend and offered a great home away from home. Had all the necessities and great location for a little fishing just steps away from the door steps. Hope to rent again for our next vacation.

Have stayed at Helen Riverside cabin several times and have always enjoyed our stay. Cabin is within a short walking distance to Helen and Betty’s grocery store. The cabin is clean, the beds are comfortable and we usually notice improvements to the property. The kitchen is well equipped and we love the view of the river from the porch. Highly recommend this cabin.

The property is located on the river and very close to town. The 2 bedrooms are very spacioys and each having their own bathroom was wonderful. The back porch was so relaxing sitting listening to the river run. This is a perfect cabin for couples, girls trip and even a family of 4. Check in and checkout was so simply. Would stay here again!!

This property is an absolute gem! A quiet, beautiful clean retreat on the riverbank in a quiet neighborhood. Morning coffee on the veranda overlooking the river as the birds sang was memorable. I highly recommend this property. Communication with the owner was excellent and the place was super clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds too!

We easily walked into town to enjoy wonderful German food and a variety of shops. The cabin is lovely, comfortable and quiet. So lovely.

My wife and absolutely loved this Cabin for many reasons and plan on staying there again. From a very easy booking process, to good communication with the renters, to location, location, location. Everything is just as it says. You can’t go wrong renting this place.

The cabin is great. Short walk into town and really close to Helen Fun Factory (for kids). Enjoyed listening to the river while grilling on the deck outside. Communication with the owner was thorough and easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice property with a great location. Cabin is on the river and you can walk to town. Cabin was clean. It was very cold while we were there and the property manager reached out to us to make sure we knew this before making the drive. Very much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay, clean easy access, around the corner from downtown. Everything you need with the kitchen appliances. Nice bedrooms. Easy contact with owner if needed. One things, the balcony door needs to be better secured. Was very difficult locking the door, overall a good stay.

This was the fourth year in a row that we have spent the week after Christmas in this beautiful cabin. It is tidy and comfortable. Perfect location to town.

Our one and only complaint would be the bathroom upstairs has walls that do not go all the way up (due to the cathedral ceiling, I assume) and that removes quite a bit of privacy. That said, you can NOT beat this location, the river flowing by, the firepit. I would stay here again even with the bathroom issue.

Great and Cold

Great stay in a lovely cabin. It met all our needs.,very cozy. Beautiful on the river and easy distance to town.

There is nothing more relaxing than walking into a cabin and noting how clean and well-apportioned the place is. From making our reservation to our stay to our eventual departure, the hosts made sure we were well taken care of, and that care allowed us to enjoy the Helen GA area...the shops, restaurants, sights, local trails, and other attractions. The cabin is set back from a creek, has a firepit and picnic table to enjoy, and is just a short walk to the center of town. Our stay was filled with relaxing mornings sitting on the veranda, sipping a cup of coffee or tea, and just watching the day wake up before heading out to investigate the area. Then heading back to the cabin for evening musings and puzzle assembly. It made it hard to leave and if we are ever in the area again, this woodsy cabin will be our number one choice. Thanks for having us.

Restful location on the river. Chalet was marvelous and the special touches such as fall decorations, extra quilts and pillows was much appreciated The washer and dryer allowed us to refresh our bathroom linens during our stay Only downside is that my husband and I traveled with 2 female friends and the upper bedroom doesn’t provide as much privacy as they would have liked

We stayed at this property two years in a row. The house is beautiful and perfect for my wife and me. It’s comfortable and very well maintained. We enjoy sitting on the porch and watching the river flow by. It’s a very short walk into town so there is really no need to move your car once you arrive.

The cabin stay was amazing! The house is beautiful with all the features included. We spent a good amount of out time outside on the beautiful deck overlooking the Chattahoochee -Relaxing! Short walk to town to enjoy the charming town of Helen.

This cabin is perfect! The location is very private considering it’s near other homes. The layout is well done. We will be coming back and next time we will stay longer. Love this cabin!

I now understand why so many people have posted about staying multiple times at this cabin. It truly is the perfect location! We enjoyed watching people tube down the river after we went tubing ourselves. Then, we walked to Betty’s Country Store to pick up some steaks to cook on the BBQ grill on the porch. The next day, we walked around Helen a couple of times and returned to the cabin to rest. With a rainstorm approaching, we headed to the Fun Factory before it hit and found plenty to do inside while it rained. Not only is the cabin in the perfect location, but it is also beautiful and cozy, with lots of extras such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, extra blankets, and even a bunch of sticks for tubing. Book this cabin now before someone else does!!!
