Hawk's Nest Hideaway With Creek That Runs Through This Very Private Property

Quiet tucked away by a creek and a pond but close to amenities. Home was so clean and hot tub was a cherry on top. Kitchen was well equipped, so was the bathrooms. Love our stay. Yoki, the pup came to visit.

The house was very clean and well equipped in the kitchen. There were full size appliances, and since we were there for Thanksgiving it was great to be able to cook a meal. In addition, all linens were provided. The negative side pointed out by my husband was that there was no cell service at all. We were not aware of that when the reservation was made. He needed access to the phone and had to leave the house to find service in order to accomplish a call. There is Internet/Wi-Fi as well as satellite for the TVs. The hot tub was a plus and the kids enjoyed having a large yard and seeing the fish in the creek.

I traveled with my 2 kids(19,3) and my husband to enjoy a relaxing weekend for our 10yr anniversary. We loved being able to drive to Desoto and hike. We enjoyed the gorgeous views. We absolutely enjoyed the hot tube after that hike! We would definitely stay here again. Great memories and much needed R&R.

The property was super clean. The beds were super comfortable. It is a cute little house with a nice hot tub in a screened in area. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cabin actually looked way better in person than in the pictures. The host was very accommodating and very understanding, especially when I had to call her kind of late at night for a problem that I had. The scenery was beautiful. It was an amazing week for our birthday trip. 10/10 I highly recommend

Beautiful home and property! Host was excellent at communicating and answering any questions ahead of our stay. We were so impressed by our experience we are trying to book again in the next month or two! Beds were so comfortable, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room were well stocked, fire pit was clean and relaxing. We will definitely be back and we can’t wait! Hot tub was so clean and we actually felt very comfortable using it. Other Cabins that we have booked were not as clean and this went way over our expectations! We can’t wait to rebook!!!!

This cabin is so cute! It was super clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The hot tub was so nice after a long day out hiking around waterfalls. It’s close to everything but still feels secluded. We will definitely be looking to stay at Hawk’s Nest Hideaway the next time we head to Mentone!!

The house was clean the creek was great the beds was firm cell service was non existent but the Wi-Fi was super fast highly recommend the wildflower cafe

We loved our stay at this property. Everything was clean, well organized, and just as listed. The kids had a great time fishing and even set my alarm for 6am when the fish would be hungry.

Excellent house/excellent host. Michele was very helpful and responsive. This house was one of my favorite properties of all the ones we’ve stayed in. It’s immaculate but comfy and homey at the same time. The house is very well furnished; we cooked out numerous times and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We loved the fire pit and creek area as well. Evenings in the hot tub were wonderful! Very convenient to see Chattanooga (Ruby Falls/Rock City). We also loved Mentone; there are lots of great places to eat (Hatter Cafe/Wildflower Cafe) and great shopping. Thanks, Michele-this was a terrific vacation and we loved your house so much.
