I had such an amazing time. The host was wonderful w/ directions to get there. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything needed! Would love to come by again.

Our stay at Rooks Nooks could not have been better. This place is a lovely cozy cabin! It was super clean and had little touches that made it so homey and pleasant. The beds were comfortable. It had nice dishware to use. The hot tub was great and the front porch with all the comfortable seating looking through the trees was so relaxing. The detail in the woodwork and design inside the cabin was beautiful. A great place to stay.

Cabin was excellent. Pictures really didn’t do it justice. Very clean. Kitchen was fully stocked which was great since we decided to grill out our second night. Bathrooms were even stocked with toiletries in case you forgot anything. Hot tub was clean and super hot. Cabin is in a private and quiet area making morning and evenings on the porch swings perfect. Host an even reached out to let me know we could check in early and check out late if we wanted! We come to this area every year and we will definitely be back to this cabin!

This beautiful cabin has it ALL!!!! The perfect place for a much needed getaway. The hot tub is the best one we have used. The whirlpool bathtub, relaxing, and the huge shower was amazing! There were so very many extras that made our stay even nicer. Bath and Body soap, lotion, body sprays, awesome Fantastically furnished with everything you need and more. We had so much fun playing pool, listening to music and just relaxing. We never turned the TV on. Just 100% chilled, unwinded, and rocked on the porches.Thank y'all so very much for sharing your piece of perfection with us

This was my husband and I first stay at this cabin and it was prefect. We were their celebrating our 32nd anniversary. We felt like we were walking into our home with so many amenities provided. The pictures does not do this property justice. The inside is gorgeous. We are already planning our next trip.

I would highly recommend this place! Everything was perfect! The only suggestion i have is to have some sort of curtain in front of the hot tub. The neighbors light was bright!!

We love staying at Rooks Nooks. It is cozy, secluded, quiet, very clean and the perfect place for a Mentone stay. We have stayed twice already and cannot wait to go back.

I can’t begin to explain how much I recommend this place! Everything you might need is already there. Fully stocked kitchen, the grill is ready to go and they even had firewood already there! The jacuzzi in the master bathroom was amazing and the hot tub outside was so nice. It was a nice quiet retreat!

Rooks Nook cabin is beautiful and we loved the layout and rustic look along with the detail of it. We loved the town of Mentone and I believe we visited every shop along with eating lunch at the Wildflower Cafe which was delicious. Thank you for such an enjoyable trip!

Wonderful cabin! Complete with everything you need. Sitting on the porch early morning with your coffee can’t be beat. Pictures don’t tell how cozy and comfortable this cabin is. We look forward to our next stay at Rooks Nook.

Cabin was a great place to stay

Great location! This cabin is tucked away, but conveniently located within 3-5 miles of local establishments. The cabin is well built, clean and full of amenities. Check-in was a breeze. The owners were very polite and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable and homey, reasonably private and sheltered. Level 1 EV charging possible with just a 10ft cable. Host was very easy to reach. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking and eating equipment. Whole place was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

Cabin is beautiful, lots of xtra touches such as xtra blankets, pillows, kitchen equipment, lotion, fans, body wash. Hot tub great! We had momma deer and 2 baby deer in the front yard. Had a great stay!

The location of the property was perfect and the gravel access road was easy to navigate and well maintained. The cabin had very nice decorations with a cozy floor plan. The best part was the quietness of the area allowing your mind to be at peace. Many deer, squirrels, and hummingbirds passed by every morning and evening. The surrounding properties were also well kept with beautiful boulder gardens.

We had an amazing time! The Rooks Nook cabin is setup for total convenience, from the beautiful kitchen to the relaxing hot tub! We enjoyed our peaceful mornings on the porch watching the wildlife. The Wildflower Cafe is a must if you stay here, try the tomato pie, it’s delicious! Cynthia and Kevin, are awesome host! They truly go above and beyond for their guest! We would definitely recommend staying here! We look forward to coming back soon.

Check was simple. Everything in the house was just as described. Obviously, the internet was difficult but wifi worked as well as it could. Definitely the perfect distance from downtown Mentone and the desoto park.

The cabin was very clean, cozy and comfortable. It was quiet and close to lots of attractions.

We loved our stay!! Beautiful cabin with a home like feel. We loved the hot tub outside and the heart shape tub it was perfect for our couples trip. The pool table also was cool it added more fun to our stay. The only thing I can say is the pictures online did no justice I recommend they get a better photographer because this cabin was more beautiful in person. The only other thing that was not great was the WiFi was super slow and lagging. We couldn’t watch movies or nothing so we played music our whole weekend but it was still perfect. We will definitely book again!!!!! Lovely experience please book your stay you won’t regret it!! Thank you owners!!

We had a very relaxing time! Our three grandchildren had plenty to keep them entertained. They loved the pool table and all of the games. Because of the storms, the cell service and the WiFi struggled. The landline was greatly appreciated. We will definitely stay at Rook’s Nook again! Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at this cabin!! The pictures don't do it justice. It is so spacious, and the cabinetry is gorgeous. It smelled amazing through the entire home. The hot tub was so relaxing. The upstairs bed slept magnificent. The shower exhaust fans had a heater function, & drying off in the warmth was nice. We will definitely be coming back to stay here with our kids in the near future.

Very clean, quiet, relaxing and hassle-free. Second time that we stayed on property. We all gladly stay here again. Your close to the state park, trails, shopping. A very peaceful and relaxing get away.

Rook's Nook was absolutely perfect for my family of four, two teenagers. The master bed was SO comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in every night! Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us!

3 of us moms left the kids and husbands at home and had a little mountain getaway at Rook’s Nook and had a GREAT time! The cabin was spotless and cozy and easy to navigate to. It was super easy to hop down into town or over to Fort Payne too. We loved hanging out in the nice clean hot tub and relaxing around the house! I’d recommend Rook’s Nook to anyone looking for an easy mountain weekend!

The cabin was amazing. The host was amazing. The hot tub, the wrap around porch, the area was so peaceful. We will definitely come back. One if the best cabins I have stayed in. The deer cane right up to the porch. Beautiful.deers

Tha cabin is always nice we went during the week and not a lot to do, most things were closed Mentone Mkt.kitchen was close due to redoing kitchen floor. It was very cold so we didn't get out and do the walking we usually do

Words can't express how truly appreciative I am of the Rooks. The timing of responses, having everything in order, extremely friendly made my heart warm. Even when I had an oversight on my part, their humility and understanding was top notch. The cabin itself was absolutely amazing. Very clean and hospitable. Cabin was beautiful, clean, private, and had everything we needed for a young family of four! Location was great for us. We hiked desoto state park, little river canyon, and cloudland canyon state park. Thankful they had long distance calling because we did noy have cell service in the cabin. Very grateful for the wifi even though it was a little slow. Would stay here again if we ever visit mentone again! 10/10!

It was quiet, beautiful, and just the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything you can think of was available and we would return to this rental if the opportunity arises.

We are super busy with work and have let life consume us for a bit. We found a few days that we could get away and looked for a last minute rental and found this GEM!!! It was absolutely perfect and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The cabin is so cozy and relaxing. We will most certainly be back soon!!!

Property was great (after we found it). Pool table was slightly unlevel, but games were played anyway.
