Always have a great time a this cabin. Would recommend to anyone.
This was an absolutely perfect get away. Beautiful spot, a quick walk down the hill to the river, and amazing fire pit to spend the evenings! Everything was exactly as advertised, and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us MULTIPLE times! Incredible experience, and we will be back next year! I would recommend this space to anyone!
The property is great. Lots of sleeping space and things to do in the area. The property was wonderful and check in was a breeze. Mindy was great to work with and communication was great. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice quiet getaway, with lots to do in the surrounding area.
None of the pictures showed the fire pit and it is the star of this property! The accommodations were good, but lacking a big table to eat indoors or play board games. It sleeps eight, but unless you’re outside at the huge firepit or ant the outside table on the deck, it only “feeds three or four”. Loved the location.
Our family of eight stayed for three nights and enjoyed it immensely. The inside is well stocked with anything you need, and the outside is even better. Mindy was great and very responsive. We will go back next year!
We hosted a small family reunion in this beautiful and peaceful cabin. Everything about the cabin is well done and inviting and perfect for a group that wants to be together. We loved the outdoor fire pit, and used the generous outdoor table and seating for meals, games and crafts. The kitchen has all the equipment you need and the appliances are new. Sleeping upstairs is one private room and the rest is loft style. The river is an added bonus; we saw birds, turtles, and deer; did some fishing. We ran on the country roads and hiked nearby trails. Frankfort is 20 minutes away if you need some beach time. The location is a bit remote and that was new for us but the privacy was an added bonus. The host was very available and responsive.
The house was spotless and well stocked. Very secluded and quiet. We took the kayaks down the river and had a blast! Thank you for a great stay!
Great place! Clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again
Group of friends stayed here for a long weekend and what a great set up. Host clearly takes pride in the place. Very obvious that they put in a lot of work for it to be a warm, welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Our family had a wonderful holiday stay and highly recommend this location. Host support was tremendous. Fun!
Had a great time with my friends. The cabin is on a great spot on the river. I would definitely use this property again.
To sum it up with one word Beautiful
Had a great time at Are Neck Of The Woods Cabin. Beautiful location, we would definitely stay there again.
Great cabin on a beautiful 10 acres of woods with direct access to the Betsie river. All the modern comforts with a rustic touch. Fishing on the river, outdoor fire pit, kayaks, star gazing and hiking around the property were very enjoyable. Also made our way to Crystal Mountain (5-10 Minutes away) and Sleeping Bear Dunes (40-45 minutes away). Perfect amount of quiet time in the woods and enjoying these two great areas. Mindy, the property owner was very hospitable and easily accessible from booking through check out.
Excellent place to stay and good communication. No complaints and would stay again.
Great location - remote but close to activities. Nice distillery close by. Cabin very well appointed.
We booked here for our summer trip which included Frankfort, Crystal Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Leland/fishtown. The cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean. Wifi and Roku TV worked great. Two enclosed bedroom spaces and an open loft with sleeping space - the fire pit was great for s'mores. Our kids loved running down the path to the river. This was a secluded woodsy property and perfect to come home to after our local adventures. Definitely would stay again!
Great location with private access to Betsie. Description understates how great the access to Betsie really is. We wanted a secluded stay for a few days following visiting Chicago but still have a ton of activities available for the kids. This place delivered. Check out the distillery, ski mountain for chair lift for mountain biking all within a couple minutes. Crystal Lake and town is 10-15 minutes and Sleeping Bear is 30-45 minutes for a great day trip.
This cabin was perfect for our annual ladies trip. The location is beautiful and rustic. The cabin is really awesome. They've thought of everything.
The cabin is nice and peaceful. Although We were far from the river and it could not be seen from the house, which we assumed. . Also the address needs to be added to the tree on private lane where all other addresses are added. Got a good vibe after communicating with the owner.
Excellent location close to Crystal Mountain and Iron Fish Distillery. We loved the privacy of the location and being right on the Betsie River. The house was the perfect cabin experience! Owner was great with all communications. We would love to come back and stay again!
Owner was great and very attentive to anything we needed or any questions we had. The cabin was absolutely beautiful with so many fun details!! Everything was as described and better!!! The fire pit was amazing along with the short little walk to the Betsie River!! We will definitely return!
Everything was just perfect, highly recommended Clean, stylish and equipped with everything you need
The stay was very pleasant. Only thing that would have made it better would have been screens in the windows so we could have some air circulation without bugs. The cabin has no HVAC so this was the only option and they were home for cleaning instead of on the property. Otherwise great stay, easy communication and once we found the cabin, it was easy to navigate to places from it. First time pulling up, there was a lack of signage to find the property and ended up going to the neighbors first to ask for directions.
This log cabin was awesome, great view, clean, and fun. Highly recommend for a nice getaway.
